I am also getting my endometriosis removed from my bladder and bowel. What can I expect and when do you think I can go back to work? (I have a desk job)How hard is it to recover and how much do you scar from the laporoscopic surgery?

Has anyone had hemorrhagic corpus luteum ovarian cyst drained vaginally? If you did, can you describe how it is done, how much pain, if you had anestisia and why the doctor chose to drain it instead of wait for it to go away by itself?

I have a 5 mm cyst on my right ovary and a 1.4 cm cyst on my left ovary.

My girlfriend has a 7 cm ovarian cyst and she does not want surgery.

I have an appt with my dr scheduled for next week but was wondering if anyone could briefly provide me with a breakdown of what the symptoms are of an ovarian cyst. I’ve been having some discomfort near my pelvic area. I also have had nauesa as well.

I have been diagnosed with polycystic ovarian syndrome in the past, I had a CT Scan done yesterday and it showed that I have a 4.3centimeter cyst on my left ovary and I am in pain! I am also haveing pain from my kidneys and kidney stones!

I am having surgery to remove an ovarian cyst from my right ovary tomorrow. My doctor has said that most likely they will have to remove at least my right ovary if not my right ovary and tube. I am only 27 I am very concerned right now about what might happen.

I haven’t had a period in 6 years? Prior to my period ending I had ovarian cysts and fibroid tumors. I would have ultrasounds and they got smaller; then finally I had my menopause. I was led to believe that when my period stopped I wouldn’t get them anymore. last year when I had gallbladder surgery they told me I still had them. Until today, though, I had really not had any pain. Today I had severe cramps and swelling, my back hurt, just like when I used to have my period.. I feel like I have the fibroids again. How can I have them if I am not reproducing anymore? Is this possible? Please help!

I think I understand the fact that each month, an egg is released, thus causing menstruation; and sometimes, the egg isn’t passed (gets stuck onto the ovary), causing an ovarian cyst. But my question is, can an ovarian cyst turn into/cause ovarian cancer?

Just found out I have a pretty good sized cyst on my left ovary. We just began trying to conceive this month and I’m wondering how this is going to affect our efforts.

About 2 nights ago, I am pretty sure an ovarian cyst ruptured. It was ridiculous pain. I had been havingsymptoms of cysts for about a week. Well, today I feel so ill. My abdomen is bloated. I am weak and shaky. Should I go to the ER or wait it out? Please someone respond.

My last month period was just spotting and light, but I just had an ultrasound done and I have a cyst on my right ovary. Can the cyst cause my different period?

The gynae said that it would heal by itself, the thing is my husband and i are trying to fall pregnant and this is the one thing stopping me. Is there any advice to how i can get rid of it???? We want a baby so badly and want to get to the bottom of this!
I found out I had a cyst when I went to the gynae. He did an internal scan and found it. It happens to be 2cm. If you battling to fall pregnant go see your gynae, that could cause the problem. Thanks for your help ladies

If you have had the cyst removed, how long did it take for your symptoms to disapper or find out if those symptoms were being caused by the cyst?

I have an ovarian cyst that I had diagnosed two days ago, it is causing me slight pain, but not too bad. I am supposed to go out of town for a camping trip for the weekend and we’ll be camping about 25 miles from the nearest town.
Is it wise to go, or do I need to be near a clinic until the cyst clears up? The cyst is 2.3 CM, and the doctor told me that it was leaking blood, probably because it was getting smaller.

I have a 7.5 cm cyst on my right ovary.

I had an ultrasound five months ago due to excess bleeding and was told I had an ovarian cyst (a small one). I had a D&C and the mirena coil inserted. Recently, my abdomen seems much fatter and I’m not sure if I’m just putting on weight due to a little less exercise or if the cyst could be causing this. Anyone got any experience of this? Thanks.

My doctor just told me I had a 4cm complex ovarian cyst. She said I will most likely have to have it removed pending another internal ulrasound.

I had surgery at the end of August to remove a large cyst from my left ovary, it was a benign cyst, they said it wasn’t cancerous; and since last week I’m feeling the urge to go pee more than frequently, and it hurts a little bit, kind of like when you get a urinary tract infection, which I find very odd becuase I am very clean, and I am being very careful. My sister has an ‘ovarian cyst’ 15 cm i n width….. The average cyst rarely exceeds 5 cm…… can a cyst turn into cancer?

I’m 7.4 weeks, I was diagnosed with endometriosis and have ovarian cysts before becoming pregnant. Can this be causing my spotting, don’t have cramps just the usual mild to nothing. Can this affect this pregnancy, been spotting since 5.5 weeks.

I’ve been having ovarian cyst trouble for the last couple of months. I was in the hospital yesterday for extreme pain. They said the cyst is causing my pain (it is 4 cm), and fluid which is realeased from the cyst during ovulation is moving about my abdomen and causing pain.
