I also have PCOSand this is the 1st time i have had a hemmorrhagic cyst. IT IS SOOO Painful!! I will follow up with my GYN but i was wondering if it needed to be removed… the pain and nausea are driving me up a wall.

I have chronic pain on the lower right side of my abdomen, and have for years, for about 5 years now I have had multiple cysts on my right ovary. After I had my daughter of Jan. of this year my pain has gotten significantly worse i’m in almost constant pain. I just recently moved from Hawaii, my doctor there was just about to test me for endomitriosis and ovarian cysts, when I had to move. I was finally able to switch my insurance to California and see a new gyno. When I told her about what my doctor was planning on doing in Hawaii she blew it off, she said I don’t have endomitriosis because I have two kids. and said she wanted to put me on the depo shot to eliminate my periods and see if that works for my pain. I have been on the shot for a month now and no imporvement. On October 16 I hae exgrusiating pain on the lower right side for about 45 minutes. I couldn’t move, couldn’t talk it was horrible! I had an ultrasound schedualed for two days later for my cysts on my ovary. during the exam they found a 2cm cyst on my right ovary and fluid in my abdomen. My doctor said I had a cyst and it apeared it ruptured, and that was it, they wont do anything unless its 3cm or more. Since Halloween I have been in horrible pain on my lower right side, weak, dizzy, hot flashes, vaginal pain. I can’t stand up without buckling over so I made an apt. I told my doctor my symptoms and she said that my cyst might be still leaking and sent me on my way. I can barley take this pain nor take care of my kids properly. she gave me some tylenol with codine and its not working. She said she wants to wait another two months to see if the depo works, and if it doesn’t she wants to give me something stronger to put me into menopause for 6 months! so pretty much I will have to wait another 8 months before she will even examine the situation and figure out whats wrong. Is she an idiot, and just doesnt care? Has anyone eles had a cyst that slowely leaked? what were your symptoms and the outcome? I have almost been tempted to go to the ER to see if they can help me more. I really dont even know what my actuall question is just someone give me some advice!!!

Hi, I have a couple of ovarian cyst on my right side, which causes serious pain,I went to the hospital today ant this is how I found out.I was wondering if there is any way to get rid of them naturally, I am ttc and find it very hard

I have quite a few of them that vary in intensity….
I tried conventional treatment for quite sometime, and I cant say that it did very much…
So I figured I would try something natural….

I’m just tired of cramp like pain for half the month
I increased my calcium intake some, and that helped some.
Any other suggestions?
Oh – and pain during sex – that sucks outloud as well.

my gf has a huge ovarian cyst. it measures 7.5 x 7 x 5.1 cm. she is in continuous pain and it spreads to her lower back. the dr gave her anti-inflamitories for it but they haven’t been helping her at all. should she ask about surgery to remove it or wait for it to burst?

I took 3 home P.T. and they came out positive. I went to my hospital to do a lab pregnancy test and also positive. But I had a miscarriage in October and found out I have a huge ovarian cyst in left ovary. Do cysts interfere with a pregnancy test???

Can’t they delay your period and cause intense pain in the ovary?

I went to the doctors on the 5th because i was having bad pelvic pain. I found out that i have an ovarian cyst. I was wondering if anyone can tell me what symptoms i can expect to feel when the cyst ruptures?

I have had quite severe lower abdominal pain on and off for about 3 months now but it comes and goes. Just wondering if it was a cyst would the pain be constant.

I had 2 ovarian cysts (left and right) removed on August 11th. I had my period 2 days later, but only for a couple of days. To date, it’s been more than a month and a half and I still haven’t got my period yet. Should I be worried?
