My doctor sent me home with no pain killers at all and didn’t even tell me how to make the pain go away. I’m sitting here with aching pains throughout my lower abdomen. Anadin extra doesn’t work. I’ve only had 2 hours of sleep today (It’s 11.43pm in England) because of the pain. How can I get to sleep without giving up because of the pain??

Im 20yr old. How do you biopsy a 4.8CM left complex ovarian cyst? How is treatment afterwards? What are the chances it’s cancerous? Will i have to have an ovary removed? I have appt. Thurs but was wondering until then…thanks

I had a cyst rupture a few days ago and last night I had similar, but not quite as bad, pain, as well as some bleeding. Could this be some blood left over, or is it something else?? How long is pain from a cyst rupture supposed to last?

Are your chances of having Cancer larger if you have both a complex ovarian cyst and thickening lining of the uterus? Can you biopsy both the uterus and the ovarian cyst during the same procudure?

My mother REALLY needs to get one removed, it is the size of a grapefruit. One doctor estimated 00 down before the procedure, and still then, more money afterward. She has thick blood so the surgery is a risk, but 00??? This number does not make since to me, what in the world is insurance for if the so called "co-pay" is 00.

So, can anyone give me an estimate? I know the amount varies on the difficulty, I just need a good couple of ideas. Thank you.

I’m writing this book, and I wanted to integrate this trouble I had in the hospital, but what I had was an ovarian cyst, and I think that that probably isn’t the best disease to appeal to young audiences, and I need something more well known or less embarrasing with similar symptoms.

Is a ruptured ovarian cyst going to hurt me? I know it is not good, and I have had one rupture before. I did not know what it was, so I went to the ER and they did a laproscopic and confirmed that the cyst ruptured. Because I have experienced the pain, I am almost positive I had one rupture again. I have not been to the Dr. yet, b/c I do not know if this is something that will just pass through my body, or if I should go. The only reason I ask is because I am only in a mild amount of pain now. If this will just run its course, I would like to go on with my life! Thanks for your help!!
