I am a 23-year old female. I just found out today that a have a fairly large cyst on my right ovary. The doctor said people get them all the time and not to be too alarmed. I will be seeing a gynecologist soon. Until then, does anyone know what usual steps are taken concerning ovarian cysts? Pain? Sympoms? Procedures?etc…Thanks!

i have been checked for everything.. everything is norml.. cept i do get alot of pain first 2 days of my peirod.. everything else is pretty norm
i dont have PCOS i was tested n my doc n i talk about everything.. i was just wondering thts all

I am 15. I have had 4 ovarian cyst (the size of baseballs) rupture in the past 11 months. I have been having symptoms for the past couple weeks. Like I look like I am pregnant, I have sharp pains in my pelvic area and I have lost appetite… I have looked on a couple websites about ovarian cancer symptoms and I go to an adolescent gyn. and I am going to set up an appt. with them but i have wondering if I, at my age, should be concerned about this being a possibility because the women who have this are in menopause… or I have something else…

I have had cyst throughout the past few years but lately i have had intense pain and went to the GYN after having a CT scan of my abdomen. I am going for a ultrasound next week. But when I went she told me that this was found on my CT scan and she just wants to cofirm it before she gives me any medical treatment.

Two weeks ago I experienced my first cramps and still am feeling them mostly on the left side. I feel tired. And my period is now 7 days late. But I’ve taken 4 pregnancy tests in the last 3 days and all are negative, I’m not stressed my school is currently in fall break. My last menstrual was on sept 9.

recently i got diagnosed with an ovarian cyst. still waiting on the results from the ultra sounds to see how big they really are. and i have gotten really dull aches to sharp stabbing pains that come and go. but what causes the really sharp ones and does it mean that it might rupture soon?

I just had surgery for a ovarian cyst it killed my left ovary I had to get my left ovary removed.. I am 12 years old ….Has anyone lost their ovary around my age? Plus, what helps with pain? I’m in excrutiating pain!

An ovarian cyst is when the egg doesn’t make it into the fallopian tubes, and instead lands on the outside and forms a cyst, correct? So if the egg never makes it to the uterus, is it possible to become pregnant that month? I’m just curious..

hi. im 16, and i few days ago i found out that i have an ovarian cyst. there is a history or ovarian cancer on my moms side of the family..

am i at high risk of getting cancer?
i know it would be likely.. but how likely exactly?!?!
