I had this question before but I want to read more responses. Thanks!
Okay so I am 30 weeks pregnant and had an ovarian cyst since early in pregnancy but not sure if I had it before I was pregnant. I am having a hard time deciding if I should do a vaginal birth and have a laproscopic surgery later or do a c-section and take out the cyst after the baby is out.
I think it is called a laproscopic surgery (my doctor said it would be through my belly button. I am not sure if its called laproscopic but that’s what I am thinking through online research)
How is the recovery from laproscopic surgery for ovarian cysts?
And how is the recovery for c-sections?
Which one will be less painful and recover faster?
My husband will not be here to take care of me as my due date is Jan 2nd and he is on deployment in Okinawa. He will be able to come home a week for the baby but he needs to leave on Jan 1st. I asked my doctor if I could be induced a week early for my husband and she said I might be able to if the baby is ready (crossing my fingers for Christmas Eve to induce if my doctor is willing.)
How long for laproscopic surgery, c-section, or vaginal is the hospital stay?
I need to be able to take care of a baby. Also how does the scar look on a laproscopic surgery and a c-section. How long does it take to be unnoticeable if possible?

I’m an 18 year old girl and last year i had surgery to remove an ovarian cyst the size of a tennis ball and they discovered that i have endometriosis and now my doctor wants to inject me with Depo-Lupron once a month for 3 months to put me into artifical menopause to help save my reproductive organs, has anyone else ever been through this that can give me some advice? I’m kind of scared because of the side effects, but the endometriosis is really painful at time and i want to be able to have kids…. no one else in my family has been through this so i really have no one to talk to.

I went to the hospital in excrutiating pain a few days ago in my lower abdomen…they couldn’t tell me anything by the ultrasound. How can one tell if that has occured? Also can u have a cyst that ruptures and be pregnant at the same time? I am due to have my period tomarrow….but no signs of it at all, and we haven’t been using protection…hoping at some time to concieve…thanks:)

My question is this: Should I be concerned by these findings? I have constant pelvic pain that has had me in the hospital twice. The ER doctor today told me birth control would be my treatment. I wouldn’t think this would do anything for the fact that I have free fluid and a hemmoraging cyst. I’m just confused and would like to hear others’ opinions. Thanks.

about 3 weeks ago i had really bad pain in my lower back. I went to the doctor and they said i probably pulled the muscle. Now yesterday I went back for a pain right by my appendix and ovary and it turned out i ahd an ovarian cyst that had ruptured. Could this be the cause of my lower back pain even though my back pain started 3 weeks earlier? And would it also affect the back of my thighs too?
thx
and please give me serious answers
and im 13 and have been getting my period for like a year and 9 months

I am just over 12 weeks pregnant and I have to have surgery sometime in the next 4 weeks to have ovarian cysts removed. The largest cyst is just over 15cm, 10 cm, 8cm, and many smaller ones all of which are growing. What can I expect after surgery? How long does it take to heal? How soon before I can return to school afterwards? I’m assuming the pain that I am in now will be gone once the cysts are removed

I have a large ovarian cyst. I have also been having to deal with chronic constipation. Is this possibly a symptom? Also, has anyone had a cyst removed and actually felt better with no recurrence? Is weight loss common after a cyst is removed?

My girlfriend had a cyst explode on her ovary about 4 or 5 months back and sh says it will be lucky if she carries it all the way through. Is this true?
