Yesturday i was in so much pain i couldnt move, and today im fine, up and walking around?? No medicine just a heating pad!! Any ideas??

Has anyone had success with dissolving ovarian cysts by using castor oil packs? I have two 2-cm. hemorrhagic cysts on my right ovary and am attempting to dissolve them using a castor oil pack. I’ve had them for about 4-5 months now, and just started using a castor oil pack last week.
Please respond only if you have used castor oil packs yourself for ovarian cysts.

I had a CT scan done and i have a pretty good size cyst on my left ovary. I had a hysterectomy done about 6 years ago but they left my ovaries in, what do you think the Dr. will do? Will i need surgery?

One doc says if the cyst ruprures the fluid from it might harm the reproductive organs and hence might cause infertility and so surgery is best. Other doc says there is no such harm and if at all it ruptues it is good because there is no need for surgery. I am having a cyst for about 5 months and I have made appointment for surgery in 2 months and now I am having lower abdominal pain which might mean cyst rupture? I don’t know what to think? PLease advice.

My daughter has just been diagnosed with a complex cyst and she’s, unfortunately, pregnant. Because of the impact that having a child with the wrong partner will have on her future, I hope her decision will be to abort the pregnancy. I’m seeking advice from anyone who might have had a similar situation (out of marriage) and aborted the pregnancy. Are there any serious risks to her wellbeing with this complex cyst being part of the equation?

Im 13 years old and i have a large cyst on my right side. Im going to have to get surgery im either going to get laparoscopic surgery or their going to remove it like they remove the appendix?
Im really scared and how much will it take to recover??

I am 36 years old. I have 2 children so everything used to work just fine. I have had ovarian cysts (on/off for 4 years or so), because Im not having normal periods (if Im having them at all). My Dr. keeps ignoring it like its no big deal and pushing birth control pills to make me have regular periods. This always does the trick and takes the cysts away, but gives me a numbish feeling in my left calf on and off which scares me because of a possible blood clot…so I dont like to take them. Now Im back to no periods again and I am NOT pregnant. What I want to know is why Im not having normal periods on my own. Why do Dr’s act like we dont need to understand stuff like this. I want to know whats going on. A few years back when this started, blood tests said my levels were all normal, and the Dr. said I was NOT going thru early menopause. ??? Whats wrong with me and is there some vitamin or herb or something that can help me get back to normal? I appreciate your help.

23/F. I have been having discomfort in my right lower abdomen for months now. It is a dull aching pain that sometimes extends to the thigh of my right leg. Occasionaly it will turn to a more moderate pain lasting for only a few seconds. I have also found myself urinating more frequently & on some days feeling a little nauseous. I am a virgin, still have regular periods, have had no vaginal bleeding other then the times when I am mestrating, and was on birth control for a few months about a year ago due to having fibrocystic breast disease. I am concerned that this may be a cyst or worst yet maybe even ovarian cancer. Any information you could give or personal experiences would be great. PLEASE DO NOT TELL ME TO GO TO A DOCTOR – I AM GOING!

I had 2 ovarian cyst removed august 6,2007. The doctor said one of them had a clear fluid and the second had oil and it and could grow teeth and hair.It also was inside of my tubes.I would like to know more information about this and websites that show pictures of these types of cyst.What causes cyst?Also I was trying to get pregant but for some reason couldnt, could this have caused me not to get pregant as well?Any help would be great.thanks a bunch!
