Ultrasound shows a "simple" cyst. (not likely cancerous)
alone? It really doesn’t hurt me much – just a little achy at times.
I have concerns about anesthesia.
Thanks everyone who answers.

for more that 6 months i have felt a lump in my lower abdoman, but for fear of going to the doctor i just forgot about it. i missed a period so i went to the doc for a preg test. 3 weeks ago, when i go, my doc tells me i have an ovarian cyst and orders me to get an ultrasound to confirm it. the ultrasound shows that i did have one and that it has ruptured. i have been looking online and it tells me that it will disappear. it also tells me that if it doesnt disappear that it will have to be surgically removed. i cant tell if its just me worrying too much or what, but i wonder if i should demand that it be removed. please give me some advice, it will be greatly appreciated.

I have a Hemorrhagic Ovarian Cyst and I have been in extreme pain for a week. The pain medication my Doctors prescribed barely takes the edge off the pain. I am thinking about surgery, but I’m afraid that it will affect my chances of being able to conceive. I looked on web md for information on how long symptoms last, but haven’t been able to find any information.
