The Shocking Truth About How Often Conventional Treatment Fails And Leads To Risky And Often Unnecessary Surgery!

Archive for March, 2010

I’ve just had another lap for removal of endometriosis. My gyne found a 3cm haemorrhagic ovarian cyst while he was in there. I’m not concerned about the cyst because I know they’re really common and that 3cms isn’t big, I just wanted to know whether that meant I haven’t ovulated? It was day 13 of my cycle when he found it. Also, am I right not to be concerned- he didn’t think it was anything to worry about and I’ve got so many issues with endo at the moment it’s the least of my concerns, it’s just this is the first time I’ve had one of these and I know there have been other months recently when I haven’t ovulated. Is it of any greater significance because of my endo (severe)? How would I know if I had one again, considering I can’t judge by pain because it pretty much always hurts down there? Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Natural cures/treatment for complex ovarian cyst?

I went to my ob/gyn yesterday, and he said I have a complex ovarian cyst the size of a softball on my right ovary. I’ve had some pain with it lately (backaches mostly) and am now really worried. I had to get a CA 125 blood test yesterday. I don’t have the results yet. I have to make an apt with a gyn oncologist today. Have any of you went through this and found any natural cures that do not require surgery, pills, etc? I am all for herbal treatment or diet change. I am just nervous about surgery or other pills. I want to have another baby and am scared this is going to affect my fertility.

What does ovarian cyst pain feel like?

I am concerned about this severe left side lower back and abdominal pain I keep experiencing. It comes every couple of weeks and lasts around 12 hours. It is agony. I am doubled up rolling on the floor and it feels like I am having one long continuous contraction. I had my third baby 5 months ago with just gas and air so I know what pain feels like!! I went to the hospital but they gave my a painkilling injection and told me to see my GP. I went to my GP who referred me back to the hospital for an ultrasound but I have been told I could be waiting weeks for that. When the pain eases I am left feeling battered and bruised internally and my lower abdomen is very tender to the touch. Could this be cysts?

Complex Ovarian cyst during pregnancy?

I’ve been diagnosed with a complex ovarian cyst (possibly endometrioma) in my left ovary for more than a year now. Its size has been quite consistent (7.5 cms).

I was advised that, considering my age and the fact that I wanted to have a baby, I should try to conceive and if I did then the chances are that the cyst wouldn’t grow any further and might actually shrink or even disappear during the lactation period.

Now I am 40 days along, my doctor confirmed the pregnancy but when she did the physical exam she said she felt a huge mass (about 10 cms) near my pelvis, which she thinks might be twin pregnancy or a dramatically overgrown cyst or may be the pregnancy happened in the tube or there could be a number of other things.

So, to alleviate her doubts she has asked me to have an ultrasound next week .

I am really worried. Is there a chance that I may need a surgery? Wouldn’t that harm the baby? What is the treatment method if the baby is formed in the tube?

ovarian cyst pain.. should i be concerned?

about five months ago i started getting really bad stomach aches. at first i thought it was just menstrual cramps, but the pain was so bad and so severe that i couldnt move and i felt like i was going to throw up. i was taken to the emergency room and checked for appendicitis, but it wasnt swollen. a few weeks later when the stomach aches kept happening, i got an ultrasound of my pelvic region and they found that i had a small cyst on my left ovary. since i have been on birth control, they said that the hormones that are in the pill could help make it smaller, so there was no need to be concerned at the time. a few days ago, i started getting the same stomach aches again. i had to pull over while driving because the pain was so bad. it hurts the most on the left side, which makes me concerned.. i dont know if i should bring it up to my doctor, or if im just overreacting? if anyone has any idea or has ever experienced anything like this before i would really appreciate hearing from you.

Hi, may anyone interpret this medical terms to layman terms and advise if this is malign or non malign? What precautions or any advice for healing? Thank you.
