I went to the docs with a sore abdomen. He thinks I have a ovarian cyst. My ultrasound scan is next week.
Last night the pain got really bad so I went to the out-of-hours GP. He examined my abdomen and looked really concerned when he felt that my uterus is hard and swollen, but didn’t say much about it. He did detect a urine infection though. I’m not pregnant (done two tests already this week). What can cause this? Should I be worried? I’m only 26 and haven’t got any kids yet.

I am 25 years old not pregnent from last 1 year recantly done ultrasound result is some tiny cyst in both overy. size (R.O. measures 3.15 * 2.35 L.O. 2.69 * 2.33) Is this is harmful and cause my infertility?
Secondly i have done blood glucose test and value is normal. My periods are regular.(27-28 days) kya mujhe PCOS ki problem ho sakti hai.
third i have done blood test for hormon on tha day of 12-13 (before ovulation) And results are LH:18.21 and FSH:5.85?
So pls tell me the ratio of LH:FSH On the day of 13 (perioud)
Kya iska ratio pure month 1:1 rahta hai ya ovulation ke time kuch differance ho jata hai?
Is this is indication of PCOS? Pls suggest.

I’m 24 years old and, until about 5 months ago, I always had very regular- albeit very painful- periods. 5 months ago I developed an ovarian cyst on the right side. The next month I had another- much more painful- cyst on the left side. I have had pain in both ovaries every month since. I had an ultrasound that looked normal, but it happened to occur during a short window of time that I actually was pain-free. My gyno recommended low hormone birth control pills which I started a week ago, but I started feeling another painful cyst about two days ago.
I’m baffled as to why I have suddenly started having problems every single month! I’m hoping the current cyst is a remnant of last month’s ovulation and that once the pill makes me stop ovulating, I’ll get some relief. In the mean time, does anyone have any advice on how to deal with it? Any advice on how to get some relief? I don’t want to be on the pill forever and I want to have children eventually…. hopefully :/

How long and often did you experience these symptoms? And did you have to have it surgically removed?

I’ve had dull pain over the last week or so just under my tummy-button that comes and goes, had to go to the toilet maybe six times a day but no joy, and feeling pretty bloated and sick.Only problem is I’m due a period within about a day, and my local hospital has a habit of blaming any abdominal pain on menstrual cramps, and I really don’t want to go if I’m unsure.
Also, mom had a malignant ovarian cyst about 20 years ago, so is it genetic or runs in the family?
