I had my period on May 21, 2009.
I had sex on the May 25, 30, and June 6th. All times he ejaculated in me.
I am sure I was ovulating. I am regular and my expected period is suppose to be on June 21st
No birth control.I know I have a high chance to get pregnant.
Sadly, I went to the hospital on June 7th and discovered I have an Ovarian cyst. It wasn’t bleeding and it appeared to just be a functional cyst. He took a blood pregnancy test and it was negative. I assume it was to check to see if I had a ectopic pregnancy!
I am confused because what if I test positive for a urine test in a couple days or even today and it really was a ectopic pregnancy! It was only seven days after I had sex when he performed a blood pregnancy test.
Or will the unprotected sex on the 6th most likely get me pregnant?
I am just having a lot of pain on one side and he just told me to monitor it with my doctor.
Thank you

Is it normal to bleed bright red blood, and its heavy? I have had this surgery many times and have never done this. I just wanted to know if anyone else has had this problem. Changing pad every two hours. It’s been 4 days since surgery.

I have an ovarian cyst on my right ovary every month according to the doctors it ruptures and regrows. Which cause great pain it makes me have flu symptoms like vomiting and diarrhea. But the cyst always ruptures the day of my period, and I usually can feel it growing a few weeks before my period which causes a lot of discomfort too. I have been to three gynecologists, emergency room (thought my appendix ruptured), and my family doctor they all say it can not be removed and its fine. The only suggestions they have for the pain is pain killers which i will NOT take on a monthly basis, and birth control which I cannot have because of a history of blood clots in my family. I have only had three external ultrasounds done on it. Basically for the last 7 years I have been having this problem and doctors only give me minimal information about it or what to do about it for that matter. I’m pretty scared I’m not going to be able to have children because of this cyst. And I know its more than just a cyst and I know there’s something else that can be done about it as opposed to me just being obnoxiously sick every month from this. Does anyone know what could possibly be wrong and what to do about it.

I had really bad cyst pain earlier this week unable to get out of bed, went to the hospital before that and they kept me on ultram. The thing is my pains nearly gone now is there anything my doctor can do for the follow up? I’m hoping for pain medication only. I seem fine now and don’t think i need surgery and since I’m ttc I cant use birth control. Any ideas?

Hi, I’m 16 and have the following symptoms which I think are linked to ovarian cysts…what do you think?
-irregular periods
-very painful periods
-sharp, stabbing pains ‘down there’
-bloated, pressure feeling ‘down there’
-very light bleeding for no reason
-occasional excruciating stomach pains
- I am not sexually active so this could NOT be an STD

I’m 16 years old, and from my recent doctor visit (around the beginning of May), I have found out that I have numerous health problems such as a possible risk for diabetes, and high blood pressure (all because of my weight). However, my doctor said to have someone check for possible cysts in my ovaries because of all the hair that I get on my body.
Now I’ve always had irregular periods, and they are still like that now, but they are coming more frequently. Like before I would go a good half-a-year without one then get it. Now I get it about 4+ times a year (light), all around the same date. I also used to have an under active thyroid and high cholesterol, but my most recent blood test that I have taken (which was the day I went to see the doctor) have shown that they are now normal. I have a lot of hair growth on my lower abdomen, and it kinda runs in my family as my mom has it and I believe my aunt does too. I also did some research on the symptoms of Ovarian Cancer and Cysts, and I’ve only had one which had gone away in about a day. I don’t have any abdomen pain or anything, a healthy appetite, no trouble breathing, normal bowel/bladder movements, and no fatigue or anything (unless I don’t sleep too well at night). I’m just worried because I’m afraid that something might be wrong, and I’m deathly afraid of surgeries.
Please don’t judge, I get paranoid VERY easily, and I want to know if I’m just overreacting.
Take note that this is my first time having a doctor recommended having my ovaries checked out for cysts.

I was recently referrered to specialists after having abdominal and pelvic pains and irregular periods.
My report said my left ovary contains a 3.3cm simple cyst, and there was a trace of free fluid in the left adnexa and POD.
What does this all mean!? Can it turn to a complex cyst??
Im currently waiting to go back to the city where i live as im staying at my parents after nose surgery last week, so I will eventually go back to my doctors but im just curious for the time being.
