Right now it’s really painful for her when we have sex. How long does it take before we can have sex again?
We have a doctor’s appointment scheduled but we have to wait a week.

I went to the ER last night and they said I had an ovarian cyst rupture. She said it’s not bleeding, just leaking clear fluid. I also have an infection, but white count isn’t significantly up and I’m on Flagyl, so she said that’s good. My blood sugar was 235! I have to get that checked too! My concern is that I’m really nauseas today. I don’t know if it’s from the Lortab she gave me or I’m just nauseas a little dizzy still too, which I have been the past few days. Have any of you had this happen? I had a great doctor and she eased alot of my worries, but they’re starting to come back. Of course, I should be concerned, but should I necessarily be "worried"?

I was wondering if anyone knew if drs. do volunatry hysterectomy’s? Can they refuse it. I have a long history of ovarian cancer in my family, (my sister was diagonosed at 35 & had a full hysterectomy) I have been diagnosed with PCOS since the birth of my second son. I am done having children, and I have a lot of problems with my periods and cysts. I was just wondering if anyone knows if you can be denied by a dr to have a hysterectomy. I know I would be going through menopause early and I would need to be on different medications for the side effects.

If any one has any opinions on this or has been through a partial or full hysterectomy I would love to hear your story or advice.

I have had my period which was lighter and longer than normal. For several days after my period I have been spotting, like I am about to start again along with pain like my ovary is swollen. Is this symtoms of a cyst?

My 1st OB Appt was on the 12th.Doc did a ultrasound and said baby was fine and we also saw the heartbeat.Im 7 weeks 3 days pregnant with my 3rd. As she was doing the ultrasound she said there was a cyst that was about 4 inches.She said it was a size of a plum.Well earlier today when I wiped it was a lil brown blood on the toilet paper and it looked kinda slimy sorry (TMI).Why was that? I know you guys aren’t doctors but Im just wondering if anyone else experienced this.My next appt is at 11 weeks.Im sure she will do another ultrasound to see if its gotten any bigger etc.But how will I know if it has went away or busted?
When my doctor saw the cyst she didnt look concerned or anything and she also told me not to worry about it because its normal for women to get them…
Its not alot…Its just like a quarter sized amount on my panities and a little on the toilet paper when I wipe.

I was diagnosed with a complex ovarian cyst on my right ovary in January. At the time, it was about 4cm in size. My dr did a follow up ultrasound in Feb and it was still 4cm. He decided to let it be to see if it would dissolve on it’s own. I hurt severely in Feb right before (and for the first few days after) my period. otherwise, it really didnt bother me (I had a few pains before my period last month).

I just started my cycle today and I’m in alot of pain again!! not to mention, I’m severely nauseated (gets worse after I eat).

my dr hasn’t done anything with it b/c I didnt have symptoms so he thought it was gone-but I know that it’s still there.

how long can these things stick around? Is there a time-frame before my dr should just go in and remove it (5 months seems to long to me)? I’m also very worried about it rupturing-my dr said I would be in severe pain and I could bleed alot (the cyst has blood in it)
