my mother just came out of surgery this afternoon. 49 years young, good health, second removal of ovarian cysts in 2 yrs (last year they removed cysts, uterus and 1 ovary). Recently more cysts appeared so they removed the other ovary. Looks like nothing cancerous and everything went well (getting this second-hand from dad at hospital) but they won’t let her go home yet because her hemoglobin levels have dropped slightly and haven’t risen enough to be discharged. What are the possible reasons for this. Should I be concerned? Don’t know if dad is telling me everything is fine because it’s true, or so I don’t worry. The suspense is killing me!

I was enjoying healthy life but since 5th november my periods were not getting stoped so i counsult to gynaecologist she has suggested for ultrasound there is evidence of a large measures 12.7*7.1*7.2 cms(volume-341 cc.) complex,predominantly cystic elongated mass lesion with septation seen in right adnexa extending to pouch of Douglas.

….now can any body explain me about this finding and treatment as well….??…can surgery avoided…right now I have pain in abdomen .my periods are stopped
can this much big cyst cured by surgery??or they will remove ovary as well??..i am scared…pls ans…I have minor
pain in abdomen which increase if I increase physical activity.

About a month or more ago I started getting sick to my stomach after I would eat. As well as some pain in the stomach and lower abdomen. I went to the doctor, the doctor sent me to the hospital for an x-Ray, and then they called me back to get a CT scan. They told me I had an ovarian cyst and that it would either get smaller and go away, get larger and they would remove it by surgery, or it would rupture. Then after that they never contacted me.
I went about… 3 weeks later to another doctor, told her what had been the problem, and she said the symptoms I was having didn’t exactly sound like an ovarian cyst. She sent me to get an Ultra Sound. When I went they later told me that they hadn’t found anything. It was around Halloween and for a while I felt sick and terrible. But some days I wouldn’t get sick at all. This past weekend, I’m sad to say, I ate waaay more than I should have. Yet no matter how much I did, I didn’t get sick.
Yesterday I was feeling immense cramps and thought I might start. I did, but it was very light. My periods have always been heavy. I woke up this morning and I feel like I’m already stopping, because I didn’t see any blood when I wiped. But I suppose it’s too early to tell so I’ll be waiting later today to see if it continues on.
But I don’t know…I’m so confused at times. I looked at ovarian cyst symptoms and most of them fit, but then I remember that they didn’t find anything when they did the Ultra Sound. So I don’t know what I should do. Please help.
So, lol, just after I posted this question I went and used the restroom (It was #2), and I think I had diarrhea. It was really runny, and then when I wiped the blood was back.
So yeah.
I still don’t know what’s going on.

my sperm count is normal. my wife is taking medicine for the treatment of ovarian cyst. can we go for ivf after the treatment.

7 months and I am wondering if having lupus anticogulant would be the cause of some it, I have had four children. Lost the fourth one last year due to finding out i have a blood problem.

i am worried that i might not be able to have children because i have had cysts since i was 14 and im now 19 and i have unprotected sex without using the pill and it weird that i didnt get pregnant yet. do you think the cysts can be a problem?

no period
pain every single day on my left hand side
stabbing/pressure pain
bloating in the stomach
weight gain
feeling sick
back pain
pain during sex
recently bleeding after sex (last two times)
btw im not pregnaunt. due to the pain i havn had sex since end of july. and im on the contraceptive implant and we use protection! thanks

I have a swollen "bubble" on my right ovary and it is causing some pain. At times the pain is quite severe. I can push on the bubble and sometimes is goes away. Sometimes it goes away without me even touching it but for the past few days it keeps coming back.

I had this problem a long time ago but it was much smaller and went away after two days and was on the opposite side.

I went to the emergency room today with horrible cramping in my uterus.
They did an ultrasound and couldn’t find the baby. I can’t be more than 2 – 2 1/2 week pregnant.
They came back and told me it’s possible I have a cyst on my left ovary or I’m having an ectopic pregnancy. This is my first baby, I’m only 18 and overly terrified, depressed, stress, everything under the sun. I was told to come back in in two day for another check up.
——–Excuse me, but I’ve had four pregnancy test, including blood test and all were positive. I AM pregnant or I wouldn’t be this worried.
