I wasn’t aware this was going to be done until I spoke with the nurse and was shocked – I am almost 50.

Has anyone had an ovarian cyst ? I have been diagnosed with a complex cyst and am a little concerned!

I am 17 years old and my periods come at very random times throughout the year. They mostly come every 3-6 months. Could I be infertile or be having some menstruation problem? I had an ovarian cyst not too long ago and was wondering if that could be a sign of infertility.

I have kaiser individual and family plan and fertility is’nt covered, i cant even get treated at my doctors because my insurance does’nt cover it! My question is cant i see my obgyn for something else like my ovarian cyst rupture 1-2 years ago, or my 35-45 day cycles? I want to find out why im not conceiving, when its been almost a year.

I got off birth control 3 months ago and I have an ovarian cyst in my right ovary with 6 cm.
I had my last period on December 1st.
It was supposed to appear on January 1st.
Yesterday I started having some pain in the lower area of my abdomen, and I’ve been feeling nauseous and dizzy, my flow is a little heavier than normal…
Is it my period that came 10 days sooner than expected or did my ovarian cyst burst??? If it burst what should I do and what will happen to me???

I am 21 years old, and am having some ‘woman issues’. I am overweight but otherwise perfectly healthy. From May 2006 to June 2008 I maybe had my period once. I didnt go to the doctor because I was embarassed and didnt have health insurance at the time. In June 2008 I was put on Provera which started my period. My doctor also thought I had PCOS and I was sent in for bloodwork which came back normal. Everything was in working order until this past Feb 2009. It is now the end of June 2009 and I havent had my period since February. I am having really sharp pains over my left ovary area. Im also having some urinary incontinence and ive noticed a change in my bowel movements (sorry if thats tmi). I am making an appt to see a gyno for the 1st time this week. I am also sexually active with my bf of 3 years and recently my ovary area hurts during intercourse. Are these symptoms of ovarian cysts? Im really nervous and any help/ideas/suggestions would be appreciated! Thanks.

i was just wondering is it normal to spot mid cycel????

8 weeks ago i gave birth to my baby girl at 17 wks from cervical incompetance she died durring the delivery ……
i got my first period on the 6th of may and i usually have a 35 day cycel so i normallly ovulate on day 21 …..
i also have an ovarian cyst which i go into hospital for its removal on the 19 th june …..
2 days before i was due to ovulate i had some spotting and pain on the left side where the cyst is …… could the cyst be making me spott mid cycle or could it be because its my first cycel after giving birth ….. i have a appointment with the surgon who is removing the cyst on the 5th but i thought id just ask you guys before i go to the appintment ….thanks to eeveryone for your help ……

This may sound like a funny question … My first birth was natural, but I know the next may have to be cesarean (long story). I know that you’re only supposed to have a limited number of cesarean births, and want to know if that incision from the cyst surgery (it was a real cut – 6 wks to heal) counts. In other words, if I want 2 or 3 more kids and they all have to be cesarean, is that possible??

Saw doctor about ultrasound results today. She said there’s a cyst on the "other side" of my uterus (not ovaries) so I think that means my left side because the baby is on the right. So they scheduled me for a follow-up ultrasound in 4 weeks.
Anyone had this, what does it mean? All I could find online was info on ovarian cysts during pregnancy but that’s not what this is.
