my stomach is really bloated and its not in the morning but it does when i eat something. so im wondering if maybe i have a cyst, but my stomach doesnt hurt at all. it just looks like im pregnant, and also i havent had a period in a long time, but im a virgin. plz help

So, the first day of my last cycle was November 21st, which lasted 6 days. My fiance and I had unprotected intercourse on Novemeber 30th and December 3rd , on which both occasions he did not pull out upon ejaculation. About 1 week ago, I began having sharp pains on both sides of my abdomin which has over time spread to my upper and lower abdominal areas. The pains in my lower abdominal area feels like cramping from menstruation but not so severe. I have become extremely bloated, semi-constipated and have expereienced slight nausea and fatigue.

I am not sure if these symptoms are that of pregnancy or ovarian cysts. Through my research on the internet, i have found that both cases [cysts and pregnancy] have almost identical symptoms.

I was taking Yasmin for about 2 weeks [about 1 month ago] but decided not to because i decided i wanted to conceive. I dont know when my next cycle is to come because of my severe irregularity. I just wanted to know if you have any advice.
i have also had a little spotting…maybe about 2 days ago!

I had a miscarriage the third week in June and the doctor found an ovarian cyst. He put me on birth control for six months to get rid of it and said after that my husband and I could try to get pregnant again. I’m afraid I am pregnant again now. It’s too early for a pregnancy test, but I have had all the symptoms I had with my first pregnancy. Has anyone had a ovarian cyst and had a successful pregnancy? Would I have to have an abortion or could I have another miscarriage? I really want a baby, and would be ecstatic if I was pregnant and could have a healthy pregnancy, but I’m worried I’ll have another miscarriage. I’m really worried about this, so any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much and have a great day!

Pain started last night… went to doc today (student health)… they sent me immediatedly to get CATscan to make sure it wasn’t my appendix… found I had a ruptured cyst. My doc prescibed my vicodin for the pain… told me to take 3 ibuprofen 4 times a day and to not move about to much for the next few days. Am I good to go? What about whatever ruptured out of the cyst? Is that stuff okay in my body?

Why do females with ovarian cystic disease fail to concieve? When is the best time to have the cysts removed surgically?

Is there anyone else on here dealing with this and ttc? How do you deal with it? The only treatment there is for it is bc pills….obviously not an option

I have a ovarian cyst of 6 cm in my right ovary, and the beginning of my leg and my lower back is hurting…could it be the ovarian cyst?

Last week I started complaining of severe dull pressure like cramps on my left side….I have been on my first month of birth control and just finished my placebos…so I thought…well this must just be the pill…however these cramps kept on getting worse…and when I started on my next pack of birth control…they were horrible….My doctor sent me for an ultrasound..and there it was…A large follicle cyst on my left ovary. Since the pain was getting worse on the pill…I stopped taking it…the pain is gone now…but now I am sitting with slightly swollen breasts a week after a normal placebo period…Is this a side effect of stopping the pill…or is this the cyst..and could the birth control have caused the cyst…I never had ovarian cysts before the pill????

I thought this was the silliest question ever, until last week. I had a hysterectomy in 2001, followed by 2 separate surgeries to remove my ovaries and tubes. I had a sonogram following some pelvic pain and it was found that I had a large cyst and 2 masses, about the size of "small lemons". I am having surgery next week, via a gynecology oncologist, to remove what they are describing as "very likely ovarian cancer". The only explanation I am getting for the absence of ovaries is that when I had the hyst and removal of my ovaries, there may have
been some ovarian tissue left. Just curious to see if anyone else has ever heard of this. I have had 3 docs tell me the same thing (those were my 2nd and 3rd opinions). Only serious follow-up please??!??
I will tell you that I had a CT scan done almost a year to the day before my ER visit in which the sono was done and determined that the masses were there. The previous CT showed nothing. The day the sono was done, I had another CT done, as well as an MRI, that confirmed the findings of the sono. There is a cyst and 2 masses that a year ago were not there and now they are.
