It was growing for 5 years, and my hair thinned out quite a bit, and I wondered if that’s what it was from and when will my hair thicken up again? I only had the one ovary removed. Thanks!

I finished my chemo (Carbo/Taxol) on May 1, and on 31st had a CT scan done. I saw my doc yesterday, he said that I have a cyst on my left ovary, but there’s nothing to worry about as each woman develops a cyst during her cycle. I don’t know about that, but I know that my cancer started as a "cyst". So, I’m scheduled for an ultrasound this Saturday. I’m totally freaking out! Can it be another tumor if I just had chemo?

i am 30 female. i had surgery in 2005 removal of my left ovary for a cyst.In 2007, i was diagnosed to have endometriosis and cyst in my right ovary.My doc put me on Depo.i have a shot every 15 days for that.I stopped depo march 2008 and started Primulot N, also prescribed by my gyne.I took it for 6 weeks and stopped. Now, im on Micronor.My new gyne prescribed me that. I have bleeding for 15days now with clots.My gyne told me its normal to bleed for a couple of months my body is adjusting to my new pill according to her. The bleeding sometimes painful but my gyne doesnt pay attention to that, she told me again my body is adjusting. I want to change a pill but gyne told me the pill i am taking is also a treatment to my endometriosis…but i have ovarian cyst also?is it also a treatment of my cyst?im worried she doesnt disccussed me that.

I have a 5cm ovarian cyst on my right ovary and it causes me pain at different times but when it does cause pain, the pain is extreme! i have a choice wether to get small surgery, which is getting it drained, or let it pop on its own. ive had it for a while but i wont pop but the pain is intense! the doc says if i get surgery it wont come back but it will make it harder to have children in the future. what would u do in my situation? and also what can stop this pain?

My hormones are out of whack and I am ttc, I have irregular periods and I have found out I have Ovarian cyst on my right ovary
Any experience on how to deal with this, treatment options???

My wife needs surgery to remove an ovarian cyst. Can we be refused the surgery? What is the cost? Are there any state funds to help?

Will this cause me not to get pregnant in the future?

I am going to the doctor in a few weeks but I am so anxious and scared, I want some opinions asap. The symptoms of an ovarian cyst and pregnancy are so similar (for early stages in pregnancy) that I don’t know which one it could be! I am constipated, always have to pee, back is very sore, dizzy sometimes, 3 negative pregnancy tests (maybe too early?) Period was 3 days late then when it came it was 1.5 days, very light, and brown. Then spotting the next day which was brown and a bit of pink. I did have unprotected sex possibly around the time of ovulation.
What do you think it is most likely? Thank you!
Oh I forgot to add that an hour before I started bleeding, I had cramping that wasn’t severe but it did hurt. Then it went away after like an hour.
A few days ago immediately after sex I had some pain, then it went away, it wasn’t severe but it hurt.
In response to Missy’s question, I’m not sure. For about a year, every time we’d have sex with a condom, it would hurt (we tried 3 times without a condom and it did not hurt, we’ve been having sex for 3 yrs and the first 2 yrs it did not hurt). I figured it would go away. And a few days ago after we had sex, I had some pain (but not during). So I don’t know what all that is about.

i am 35 days late and am usually very regular. we are trying to concieve our second child, i took a blood test 17 days late, it was negative, i have had no changes in diet or exercise, im in no pain, and its not stress, ive heard an ovarian cyst could cause a late period, are there any other symptoms other than that, and has anyone gotten a negative blood test and actually been pregnant?
