This guy who my friend used to fool around with, well EVERY female says it hurts (them) & they bleed a LOT when he has sex with them, & he doesn’t go rough, according to what they say. They also said they don’t experience this kind of pain when sleeping with other guys. Do you think his "supposedly" HUGE penis has something to do with it? Do you think he needs some special treatment or something? He’s promiscuous & he sleeps with my friend, her sister (has a baby with her), & a lot of his coworkers (off the job).

I never slept with him. I’m 24, & he’s 41, which is too old for me. But they were just discussing this last night. I’m wondering what this could be. I never heard of this before. Is there something wrong ith HIM?

Now I’ve heard of conditions where a FEMALE is hurting every time SHE has sex, & it turns out to be a cervical problem or ovarian cyst.

I had an ovarian cyst removed last year and am struggling to conceive.
i had a miscarriage beginning of 2010 and then found out i had a cyst so they removed the cyst but have not fell pregnant since.

Could that be the reason why?

I’m really scared because I have been having scary period complications for the past 5 months and my doctor thinks I might have endometriosis or an ovarian cyst. =/ I looked up information on these conditions and learned that infertility is a problem with a lot of women who have them. I know most men won’t want anything to do with a woman who can’t give them children.A lot of infertile women report repeatedly being broken up with once their partner found out they couldn’t give him children. I don’t want to be infertile and wind up alone. I’m crying. Help what can I do?
Are you kidding me? It’s well documented that men want to spread their seed and make babies. Don’t even lie. Women get broken up with because they can’t grow a man a baby all the time.

For about 3-4 years now, ive had extreme stomach pain on and off and have gone to the ER for it multiple times. I’m terriffied of needles so wen i refused to do the lab work, they didn’t think any other tests were necesary. over a year and a half ago i started feeling a lump about an inch/half inch or so maybe?? above my left hip bone in my lower left abdomen, but no docters ever took it seriously, just thought i was constipated. but I wasnt, because i think i wouldve noticed if i was… I was definetly going to the bathroom regularly and wenever i was put on laxitives they didnt make me go to the bathroom any more than usual. I live with my dad and im 13, and wen i went to visit my mom for vacation last month, she felt the "bump" (which causes me severe pain and is often sticking out, sometimes visible even) and decided to take me to the docters. They did an xray and again said i was "constipated" but on the ultra sound they found a small cyst on my right ovary (which i am feeling much pain from as well, i dont have exact measurments) and a 7cm cyst on my left, and they said the entire ovary was enlarged. Could this go away?! will i need surgery??? i kind of want it just so i wont have to have this constant pain anymore… im begging someone to answer this question. Could something be wrong with me for having two cysts?! please help, im scared!

I was in a lot of pain all throughout the night I didnt sleep all I could do was cry from the pain. I went to the doctor this morning and they said I have a ruptured ovarian cyst. They gave me a shot for pain, pain pills, and antibiotics. It’s been about 5 hours since I’ve got home and I’ve taken one of the antibiotics and half of one of the pain pills. I still have a fever and my joints and muscles ache along with my side still hurting. I was just wondering if this was normal. Ive now had this severe pain in my side for 26 hours and a fever for about 3 hours. I also feel sick and have no appetite even though I am starving because I haven’t eaten since last night. I’m a college student so we dont really have soda crackers or anything. Does anyone have any suggestions??? I’m sick of feeling like this.

I have one ovary left, the other was removed due to cysts causing a lot of pain. My doctor suggested removing them both, but I am not ready for menopause so I declined.
I didn’t realize how much the ones on my other ovary hurt until she removed the other ( 3 years ago) Now, i can’t stand it. I have the typical symptoms, abdominal pain, bloating, dizziness, nausea, etc.
Can’t they just remove the cyst without removing the ovary??? I am still not ready for menopause, I’m only 42. But the pain can really be unbearable.
Any suggestions or advice?

I have-some bloating, a dull ache in the lower left side of my back (dr. thinks cyst is on my left side) I have some pain when I urinate. I sometimes have a dull ache in my abdomen. I have pain on my lower left side, but it’s not constant. More than anything, my stomach is upset. I go from being nauseaus to having gas pains-of course, that may be from my nerves!!
I’ve seen my regular doctor, had blood tests to rule out other things. She is fairly confident that it is a cyst. I’m having an US on Wednesday.

at the doctors or hospitals?

when i had my son at 17 at my doctors office i was treated normally because i had the same doctor since i was 5. he was only a little more jumpy when it came to health issues becuase it was relavent to my age. and its a good thing to because i had preeclampsia but my blood pressure wasn’t what most doctors would consider high.

with ultra sound i was first told to stop whinning when she was pushing really hard because she assumed it was because i needed to pee. when really i was in pain because it turned out i had an ovarian cyst! when i was 30 weeks and had to have one i was snapped at because she thought i was lying about knowing it was a boy and trying to trick her into telling me.

with the hospitals i got good treatment at the small town one though i did feel a little judged by the way some nurses looked at me but it was at the one in the city were i delivered i felt i was treated unfairly. they didn’t hide the fact that my age is what set me apart. when i went there i wanted to be induced rather then a c-section (the only options) but they convinced me to opt for the c-section because it would be long with induction i might have to get a section anyway ect ect. i had a feeling it wasn’t the only reason though.. after i gave birth i was asked (not even joking) 7 times if i wanted to talk to a social worker about support because i was young. i said i had enough support at home and i was fine they didn’t stop asking until i told them " i do not need to talk to one and please stop asking!" then when i was transfered back to the hospital in my own town i was asked by a nurse 5 times if i was sure i wanted to breast feed because i was only 17 and it would take a lot of time! they had not bothered to work with me at the bigger hospital on breast feeding just kept shoving bottles in his mouth after trying for only 5 minuets to get him latched (he had low blood sugar so he had to have something to eat) i worked hard and got him to learn to latch and im proud of that!

did any other young parents have a hard time from doctors and nurses?

Hey, ok so here’s the deal. I found out about a couple of months ago that I have an ovarian cyst. Since it’s not my first one, my OB-Gyn is going to do a laparoscopic surgery.
Well, then last week, I started breaking out in hives and was swelling up all over. I went to the ER when I started having chest pain and the Dr. there said that it was a virus that had morphed. She put me on steroids and a couple of antihistamines, and I’ve almost finished them all, but I’m still really itch! And, now, I’ve started my period. So, I’m wondering if it could all be connected. Could this all be a hormonal thing. Could it be from the cyst?
