im going for surgery and the size of my cyst as im told is very large (15cmx15cmx10cm)..does anyone have a cyst story or a cyst that is this size?

hi so the pain in my ovaries started about 2 months ago, and i looked it up online and i have pretty much all the symptoms of an ovarian cyst, i have brown discharge, & now i just started my period a week early so irregular period, and i have pain in my abdominal area where my ovaries are. i have already seen a gynocologist and told her about the pain & she has scheduled me for an ultra sound to determine if its a cyst or not the ultra sound is tomorow, but if i go to the emergency room i think i can get everything done much faster, so should i go to the emergency room explain to them all my symptoms would they do anything about it or not?
i wont have to pay because i have health insurance

I have been diagnosed with Hypoglicema(ms?) when I was 16 and Ovarian cysts the size of softballs and grapefruites at the age of 13 but had them since 11. I have been having Very irregualr periods for the past year. The doctors put me on birth control for pregnancy control in April of last year. I got off of them in Aug.2007 the same year.TTC. But never happened. I think I have Pcos. I have sharp pelvic pain and lower back pain,breast tenderness.I feel horrible and have been bleeding heavyly for like 2 weeks but all together going for nearly a month. But no period in Aug, October-Nov. Got two light ones in dec. none in Jan.through half of Feb too. Started Feb 18 and still going strong today on March 8 passing hug clots. I have trouble w/bow movements too. feel pressure when I try to pass them I go to the bathroom and thinking I have to go #2 but nothing is coming and I’m not constipated. When I told my mother what was going on she thought I was miscarrying. But the thing is I took a hpt and it showed up neg. If I was having a miscarriage it would still say I was preg. I dont know what to do. I am going to the doc. wed. March 12 for this. How do I bring up the topic I think I have PCOS? Can anyone help me? Can anyone relate to me? I feel alone in this battle. I have even had thoughts of just giving up on it all and get it removed but I want children so badly. The doctors told me if I dont concieve naturally then I would need infertility treatment. Imagine getting that news at the age of 19. When I went for the sec. ultrasound of my life at the age of 19, I wasnt able to see my right ovary. It was completely covered with the cyst and small cysts around it. I was scared. I was like wth( what the heck) is that …That isnt normal. It was the size of a grapefruite. It wasnt painful.Just scary. Then the day of my graduation just a month later, I was in severe pain I was hunched over in tears just two hours before I walked on the stage to recieve my diploma. I had to take a loratab in order to stand the pain and walk. I was severely heavy bleeding too. After then I was fine. Up until now almost two years later. I’m not hunched over yet in tears. But it hurts that bad. I felt like I had to push. I have to go to the rest room multiple times in just an hour and everytime I do I pass some kind of blood clot. Whether its small or big. Its still large amount of blood coming out and that is not a good thing for a girl that is anemic. Can anyone help me?

A woman with 33weeks pregnancy has been diagnosed with right Ovarian Cyst measuring about 24mm x 28mm. She is afraid this might be her last pregnancy and is suspecting her husband might be the cause that is, that she may have contacted a VD from the husband and the VD caused the cyst.

21 year old female
Non smoker, non drinker, no drugs.
(Did smoke and drink heavily before getting ill.)

Symptoms:

Severe fatigue (dead tired no matter what – naps make me feel WORSE.)

Shortness of breath (can’t get a full breath of air sometimes.)

Chronic runny nose (just started happening about 5 months ago, also sneeze alot.)

Nausea

Diarrhea/Constipation/Gas (diagnosed with IBS, but that doesn’t explain the other symptoms.)

Alopecia (round bald patches.)

Raynaud’s (toes turn purple.)

Weird sick feeling behind eyes….can’t explain it. (bright lights make me feel nauseous.)

Ringing in ears (only notice when I’m trying to sleep.)

Acidic feeling in stomach

Irregular heart beat

Dizziness

Anxiety that I never had before, shaking, neck twitches.

2 Miscarriages/Now Infertility

Hot/Cold flashes

Higher then normal testosterone levels

Ovarian cyst, gallbladder polyp

Intolerance to heat and cold.

Just feel sick.

I’ve been tested for pretty much every common disease/condition.
Diabetes, Lupus, Anemia, Thyroid issues etc.

The doctors pretty much gave up on me so I’ve taken in upon myself to help myself.
After doing some research I’ve came up with acouple diseases…tell me if you have one that I didn’t mention, if you agree it could be one of these conditions; and/or if it couldn’t be one that I mentioned (so I can shorten my list.)

Lyme disease.
Acidosis
Some sort of adrenal problem
Wegeners disease
Hypopituitarism

-bloating
-cramping
-constipation
-nauseousness
-tiredness
-frequent urination
-pain in ovaries when I pee
-recently Ive had a pain in my knee and arm. ( might not have anything to do with it, just thought I’d mention that as well.)

Alright, I’ve been told I have a bladder infection. I’ve taken antibiotics before for it, and it never seemed to do much. I was thinking maybe a ovarian cyst. I would really like to get all ruled out, I’m pretty worried. I’ve also looked up ovarian cyst symptoms and it has worried me more. I’m only 20 years old. I’m told by most doctors I am healthy, but I know my body and I know I don’t feel healthy. I don’t like it at all, I hate having to complain and seem very worry sum, but it’s my body and I’d like to take care of it as much as possible..and I try. I don’t smoke, drink or do drugs ever. I try to eat healthy all the time, and take vitamins. These symptoms have just bothered me to the point where I’m getting a little frustrated. Can you give me some advice?

I posted on here a few days ago, had lower right hand abdominal pain. Ended up going to hospital on Wednesday, got an ultrasound and i have a 3.5cm cyst on on left ovary, that’s the only thing that they could see causing the pain, even though its on my right side??. Nothing on my right side as i am missing my ovary. Pain has come back now strong as ever. They told me if it came back to go to the hospital but what can they do about this??. Should I go back or should I wait it out, seems a bit of a small issue to go to the ER about??, but I have strong pain??. What happens if the Cysts burst??.
Thanks i cannot get to see my Dr for a week and wondered if going to the ER was a bit silly but this is BAD pain and they only think its the cyst causing this – who knows??. I’ll see how I am by the end of tofay and if not go down there.

I am about 5 weeks pregnant, but the ultrasound report came back saying there is a cyst on my ovary, so I went for another ultrasound today to see if it’s increasing or decreasing in size.
I am so worried now, I don’t know what to expect. I do have some cramps now and then.
Anyone had this? How did it go?
Any input?
