I went to the ob/gyn yesterday for my annual stuff. I told him and his pa that for the last 6-9 months, when I have an orgasm my right side hurts, that its more of an ache than actual stabbing pain. Also, sometimes with deep penetration it is borderline painful. Again, not horrific pain, but a fine line between being pleasurable and uncomfortable. It is also suspected from an MRI I had on my back last month that I have a fibroid tumor on my uterus. He said that my ovary on that side (right) could be swollen and I am going back in 4 weeks for a gynecological ultrasound, but for the next 4 weeks I am going to be scared to death. Could it be possibly be the fibroid tumor causing me this discomfort? Could it be an ovarian cyst? I am mortified that its something bad…I just lost a close cousin to cancer a month ago and I suppose that fact is causing me to worry more than normal. Have any of the YA ladies had this type of trouble before? If so, what was the diagnosis and treatment? Thanks.

bec. i was diagnosed recently to have a septated left ovarian cyst and causing me a lot of pain,shoulder pain.i cant sit long time bec. of pelvic pain and my painpill is not enough.the cyst measures 2.6×2.8cm.is it possible to undergo surgery?what if my doctor will tell me to treat like drinking contarceptive pill?i cant tolerate the pain for 3-6 months.please help..i need an answer asap.thanks a lot!!!

Upon the results of an ct scan cysts were found on my wife’s ovaries.
She has been experiencing pain in her abdomen. All test have ruled out gall bladder, kidneys, pancreas problems.

Can and ovarian cyst affect ttc?

Well I asked a question on here earlier about cramping after a period. I just had a period (September 3) it was lighter than normal but was bright red so I don’t think it was implantation bleeding. It started out as light pink and brownish spotting then it got heavier (which lasted 4-6 hours) then went back to light pink spotting then stopped the next day. Well anyways the cramping wasn’t bad when it started, it was just light cramping now its gotten worse. Its cramping into my legs (it feels like the cramping I had a week or 2 after I found out I was pregnant a few months ago which resulted in miscarriage) and its starting to really bother me. I’m going to make a doctor’s appointment tomorrow but I was just wondering what you think this could be and if anyone thinks it could be an ectopic pregnancy or an ovarian cyst? Would a pg test show positive if it is an ectopic pregnancy? Please let me know what you think this could be I have never had anything like this happen before(cramping like this after period). I’m 13, and for the past week I have been experiencing cramp like pain and have been slightly constipated. Now the pain has shifted to a more painful gassy feeling. Is it possible that I might have an ovarian cyst or something else?
the pain hasn’t been that consistent either.

I have this friend with genital herpes and ovarian cyst pain attacks. She is usually miserable with one or the other, but sometimes she has them at the same time. Do you think that the herpes can bother the ovarian cyst in some way?
