do you think I could have ANOTHER ovarian cyst?

Last year I had an ovarian cyst on my left ovary, now I am feeling the same cramping and lower back pain and am peeing like every 30 mins. Do you think that I could have another cyst? What could this mean?

I am totally freaking out i need to know any information you know on Ovarian syndrome and pregnancy and the symptoms of a ovarian cyst please

how do you ease the pain of ovarian cysts?

i have an ongoing problem with cysts and birthcontrol doesn’t help. is there anything that can help the pain or even get rid of the cysts for good?

Endo & eplipsy – any advice?

A couple of years ago I had a right-side oopherectomy for ovarian cysts that had torted. Following this, I had severe pelvic pain which they diagnoised as endo folllowing a laproscopy (also had adhesions) and treated by use of a progesteron inplant which, until last week, seemed to be working as had very little pain and was able to continue my life as normal.

Last week I was admitted to hospital with right lower abdo pain – initial though was appendicitis but upon surgical intervention, discovered 5 sites of severe endo which have removed. My question is this – I am aware that after progesteron treatment, my next option is GnRH hormone therapy BUT I have epilepsy and know I can’t take this as reduces seizure threshold. I have asked for a complete hysto before but my age (25) and fact I don’t have children means I am not a good candidate. Does anyone else know of any treatment that epileptics can take for endo? Or is hysto only option? Many thanks!

I don't want to be alone?

I’m really scared because I have been having scary period complications for the past 5 months and my doctor thinks I might have endometriosis or an ovarian cyst. =/ I looked up information on these conditions and learned that infertility is a problem with a lot of women who have them. I know most men won’t want anything to do with a woman who can’t give them children. I don’t want to be infertile and wind up alone. I’m crying. Help what can I do?

Ovarian cyst formation while on birth control?

I am aware that my doctor is the one who I should talk to, and I certainly intend to. However, I’m looking for some insight in the meantime, as I cannot call her every time I have a question.

I went for my annual appointment today, and my MD discovered a larger cyst (approx. 6 cm) on my left ovary. I am 22 years old, and 3 years ago, I had a small cyst on the same ovary, (small being 2 cm). She wants to do laparoscopic surgery to have the cyst removed. I did have a blood test for ovarian CA, but have not gotten the results as this all happened today. I did not have time to formulate questions obviously, which is why I’m asking here now.

Here’s my biggest question(s). I’ve been on birth control for about 6 or 7 years. Ortho-tri cyclen (not low dose), which has both estrogen and progestin. Everything I’ve read about cysts and birth control says your MD may prescribe BCPs to prevent cysts. So if I’ve been on BCPs for this long and now have a 6 cm cyst, why do I have it? I have no family hx of cancer except a grandfather who passed from lung CA, but that was work related (iron works). No breast, ovarian, colon, prostate, etc. Can anyone explain to me or give me sources as to why I may have gotten this cyst that is large enough to require surgery while being on birth control? I do not smoke (never have), drink incredibly rarely (once a month maybe 1 glass of wine), probably slightly underweight, but I’m also just under 5 feet tall, so it’s a concern.
In regards to the weight and height, I meant to say my weight is NOT a concern. (probably slightly underweight, but I’m also just under 5 feet tall, so it’s NOT a concern.)

iv been having awful pains in my left pelvic region, my lower back, in my stomach around my belly button & rapid weight loss. my mother in law said it sound like an ovarian cyst or possibly cancer. can anybody tell me what the think? because im kinda nervous & a little scared.

I have an ovarian cyst and have some questions?

I found out about 2 months ago that I have an ovarian cyst. I know that it hasn’t just gone away. I pain is still extremely unbearable. It subsided for awhile. But now my period is 3 days late and I’ve had extremely bad pain again. Like wake you up out of a dead sleep pain. I was wondering can cysts burst or anything like that? Or could it be something else completely? I know that endometriosis runs in my family and everything. I’m going to the gyno on the 26th and have tried to get in sooner but I haven’t been able to.
I just need some help please.
I have gotten an ultra-sound that is how it was found.

How do you know if you have a cyst?

My last period was on Feb 27 and I had very light spotting on March 20th but have yet to get a period. I’ve been having some light cramping, frequent urination, minimal weight gain, back pains and sometimes my breasts feel sore. Could the symptoms be related to ovarian cysts. I’ve never had one before and my period is always on time. Any insight would be great.
