In July 05 I was rushed down to theatre with symptoms of appendicitis.Turns out thats wasnt the case. I had a small urst ovarian cyst on my left ovary.

However, over the past 6months are so I frequently get shooting pains on both sides of my groin. All different times during the day and month.Sometimes the pain is mild,sometimes it sharp and makes me jump.

Sometimes the pain even travels from my groin into my upper thigh.

My periods are normal.

I went to my doctor and told her about the pain and she didnt say anything at all, she didnt even examine me and said even if it was an ovarian cyst she wouldnt be worried.

I have an appointment again tomorrow, id it worth bringing it up?

Any ideas on what the pain could be from. My family doc thought it was an ovarian cyst but obgyn says the cyst is too small to be causing such pain. The pain is in my pelvic area on the right side. I have had the pain for about 2 months and it is getting worse. My periods have become very painful too. Any ideas about this mystery pain? Please le me know

I just recently went to the doctor and was told that I have cyst on my ovaries. The largest one being 9mm. Is that too big? Is that going to prevent me from ovulating? Can I still get pregnant?
I did have an ultrasound and that is when they told me about the cyst. My obgyn is the one who scheduled my ultrasound. I have a clear blue easy fertility monitor and it gave me a high reading. So I figure I am still ovulating. They sent my ultrasound pics to the lab and I should have the results by Friday, they didn’t say anything about removing them or anything.

ill be 35 this month. I have a history of ovarian cysts and endometriosis. lately, i get really warm. i get dizzy. i usually have to cool myself down and i feel better. when i get hot dizzy i usually stick myself in the cold pool, under the a/c vent or a cold shower. my feet and hands sweat. my muscles and joints hurt, i leak when i laugh, sneeze or cough. that sucks! periods are normal. boobs are so tender. im tired, my memory is bad. i get more headaches. my tongue has nasty flavor, it burns, my gums are tender during my period. my heart races,almost like an anxiety attack. im thinking about seeing my doc. some of these things are pretty scary. i got dizzy and warm while i was driving. scared the crap outta me! what should i ask my doc? anything else i should look for?
no pills for me, make me feel like crap!

So,about two days ago i woke up with a strange feeling of air in my vagina and there was a lot of itching/discomfort around the opening of my vagina and inner labia. I dismissed it thinking it was nothing but continued to experience discomfort.

Today the burning and itching was really bad and i also had some dull back pain and pressure on my left side.
i examined myself and found that my inner labia was a dull white color with very few bumps. I looked up my symptoms online and found that it could be a yeast infection. I just went out to the store a couple hours ago and bought treatment for a yeast infection but…I’m not sure if that’s what it is.
A few months ago i got diagnosed with chlamydia,and ovarian cysts.
I’m really confused to what is going on with my body. My period is supposed to be starting within a day or so. I’m not experiencing any breast tenderness or nausea so i don’t think pregnancy is an issue.
(the first date of my last period was the 10th of last month,i usually start one or two days after the previous date)

I JUST NEED HELP! what could be wrong with me? Could it be my chlamydia getting worse?
A yeast infection or something else?

Hi I was 25 in April and was invited for my first smear the day after but I put it off for 2 months and finally went 8th June, a week later I got my results, CIN 2. I’m really really scared! Iv got to go for a colposcopy at the hospital on 11th July. Iv had 2 children, one when I was 19 and one when I was 21. I had an ectopic at 23 and 2 miscarriages soon after, iv never been for my six week check ups. I had an implanon fitted after my last misscarraige November 2009. Because I had it fitted the day after my Miscarraige started I thought it was normal to bleed for 6 months. Then it stopped and I was in alot of pain and had an operation to remove a large ovarian cyst. This was a year ago and I still get alot of pain in my ovary and deep in my pelvis, I’m assuming this is adesions from my 2 ops (Fallopian tube removal for ectopic, and ovarian cyst removal) my periods remained painful but regular to the date. My last period started 2 days after my smear but wasn’t painfull, or heavy, it was just spotting. It’s lasted for 2 weeks now and I’ve only just got period pains today. I did a pregnancy test yesterday just to make sure. Negative. I asked a nurse if the smear could have messed my period up and she said no chance. I’m really sorry for rambling on! I’m so nervous. And to top it off, I watched the LEEP video on YouTube and now I can’t sleep. Has anyone gone through anything like this? Thankyou so much

I think it is 12 x 8 cm. I didn’t even know I had it til I had an ultra sound. I haven’t really had any pain from it, but now realize I feel a little bit of pressure, unless I am just imagining it since I now know it’s there…I really don’t want to have surgery…*sigh*

My ultra sound shows that I have an ovarian cyst and it does hurt most times. I am supposed to see the Gynecologist soon in order to determine what needs to be done. For the time being my job requires me to do some cleaning (physically demanding)… would that make the symptoms worse?

I am only 3 1/2 weeks pregnant and just found out that I have a corpus luteal cyst on my left ovary. I’m really worried and was wondering if any other women have had this and if it didn’t effect the pregnancy.
