I suffer from ovarian cysts, two of which have been surgically removed in the past. I was put on the pill to stop this from happening but eight years on, I have had to come off it. I have been off the pill for four months and I think I have developed another cyst because I am in a lot of pain and I have symptoms which are similar to what I experienced all those years ago. The previous cysts were 6cm before they started to cause any pain and im wondering could I have developed another cyst that big in only 4 months?

Ok I am 25 years old I have 2 children and rgular men. cyles. But here is the thing. was having lower back pain and side pain so I went to the ER where they did a CT scan and found a ovarian cyst 5cm big on my right overy. I have bladder trouble im constantly going to pee. Ive nveer had good bowle movments and hve painful gas presure and such and sex hurts. fatigue but not to the point where all i want to do i sleep more like a exhausted run down feeling. I hve just about all the symptoms of ovarian cancer but eveyone says dont worrie its just a cyst your fine. I made a ppointmnt with my OB this thursday
oh and my mother just hada biopsy one on a large mass on her uterin lining.

My Mum has Ovarian Cancer, and in February i was diagnosed with an Ovarian Cyst. I am 43 and have 3 children. My doctor referred me to a Gynecologist and i attended a clinic this week. They did an internal ultrasound and said that the Cyst has solid masses within it, but they could not get a good scan and they said i will need an CT Scan, which they will mark as urgent!! They also took blood to check the CA 125 levels, which are tumor indicators. I am really worried, has anyone any experience of this?
I should have mentioned that my cyst was 4cm in February and is now 6-8cm, so it has grown quite quickly. And it is now being classified as a tumor, because it is made up of solid masses?

about 3 weeks ago i had a ruptured follicular ovarian cyst. i was fine, experiencing no pain or discomfort for a good week and a half, but recently have been experiencing sharp pains similar to menstrual cramps. I had actually began my period shortly after the incident involving the ovarian cyst and it still continues now having been 2 weeks, the pains began a few days ago, i normally don’t have cramping but if i do its only for the first day of the menstruation not 2 weeks in, heck they shouldn’t be that long any way. Should i be concerned? could the this be linked to the cyst?

so i had an ovarian cyst burst on tuesday they did a pregnancy test after it burst and it came up possitive even though i did a test a few days before and it was negitive, they delt with the cyst and bleeding, and have told me that the pregnancy test was possitive and guess what i’ve come on my normal period nothing abnormal at all typical period and the doctors are now telling me i might not even be pregnant is this true has anyone else had this please it’s ripping me apart i cant handle the emotions anymore.

For the last year, each month I have had problems with ovarian cysts getting too big and rupturing, and then getting me sick, I’ve had surgeries where cysts were removed from both sides, and birth control pills don’t seem to help. A week ago I went to ER with extreme pain and vomiting, and was told there are 9 little ones between the two ovaries. i know if they are small they shouldnt be bothering me, but none of the other tests done showed any problems! I now have a fever, vomiting, headache, nausea, my pelvic area hurts really bad, and now it feels like my stomach and chest are being ripped to shreds by glass!!! HELP!

i had my first ultrasound yesterday and the nurse found a cyst on each of my ovaries. when i asked her about it she said that cysts during pregnancy are normal. anyone know more about this?

I’m 33, married and infertile. Well, I’ve been trying to conceive for six years with out any success. Ovarian cyst are very common to me. I even had to have one surgically removed which left slight scaring on one ovary. However, there was still hope for pregnancy. My husband and I have tried and tried again even with prescribed fertility pills. But no avail. At this point, I’ve lost hope. I mean, I can’t afford all those fancy fertility treatments but I do need closer, so that I’m not hoping for a mircale month to month. Do you think a hysterectomy would be wise? It’s not like my womanly parts work anyway. And this way, I won’t have to go thru mother nature every month, it’s dreadful for me.
