a few hours ago i had a very sudden and unexpected intense pain. in my lower stomach. right around my pelvic area. when i went to stand up i felt a sudden burst in that area like water rushing. i have been in a good amount of pain for the past few hours.

I am a 45 year old woman who had a partial (uterus removed) hysterectomy at age 32. I have been having symptoms of PCOS. I had an ultrasound done and it showed I have a complex follicle on my right ovary. It is 3×2x1 cm. What is the difference between a follicle and a cyst?

I just found out today that I have an ovarian cyst that is about 7cm wide or big or whatever?

The doctor wants me to just let it burst. Is there anything you can do to make it burst faster or make it shrink so it won’t hurt as much?

I don’t want to have an operation :/

I had a cat scan on Friday because of horrible pains near my left ovary. I spoke with a nurse at my OB/GYN today and she told me I have an epithelial ovarian cyst and my doctor will call me on Thursday when he is back in the office to explain more once he looks over the results. I made the mistake of not asking questions about it but does anyone know what this is? I know what an ovarian cyst is but does the epithelial part change anything? I tried googling it and I keep seeing stuff on ovarian cancer and ovarian tumors. Is that what that means?
Also, does anybody know what doctors usually do about this? Like surgery?

endoskeleton muscular pain in chest…on sides of ribs…severe shortness of breath…ovarian cyst from 3 years…size 5.6*5.4 cm in left side….more pain in periods…..heavy blood loss…muscular pain on ends of ribs and abominal every day…….is both endoskeleton pain and ovarian cyst are related?

I recently had an ecography done and descovered that I have an ovarian cyst as big as 1 cm and a half.

I was prescribed a birth control treatment for 6 months, with Logest. But, my problem is, I really don’t wanna be taking birth control pills due to the effects they have on the body.

I generally am balanced, but I read that it causes moodiness, depression, lowers libido, lowers lubrification, lowers sexual enjoyment and such….and these effects stay long after you’re done with the treatment.

Is there a way I could get rid of my cyst without having to take these extra chemicals that will likely throw my hormonal system OFF balance, than do any good?

Is there a homeopatic way, naturistic way to do this? Any herbs? There has to be something….I really don’t wanna be taking birth control pills.

My mom is 52, and she really wants another kid (I’m an only child). As far as I know, she doesn’t have any blocked fallopian tubes, ovarian cysts, cancer, or anything that would result in infertility (other than possible menopause). Her family has a history of aging slowly.

Is pregnancy at 52 possible?
She does ovulate, it’s just somewhat irregular.

And due to so much family crisis, she had to wait. She had me at 36, and then her parents died two years later, her best friend got cancer, etc. So now she’s 52.
