Ovarian cyst can alter your hormonal status , hence, it affects your schedule of menses.
Most cyst are assymptomatic, except for changes in your menstruation. However, if the cyst is already huge, it will start to be painful (if nerves or sensory endings are affected), or it may cause problem with your peeing (when it already obstructed the flow of urine in your ureter). It can also cause constipation if it presses your intestines. And the most common problem is abdominal enlargement because of enlarging cyst (I am talking not of small cyst on this case).
