Can ovarian cyst hurt more when your on your period?

I have a ovarian cyst on my right ovary and Im on my period and it seems to hurt alot. I went to the hospital on last Wednesday and they found it on the cat -scan and its 7 cm long.

Hope it goes away on it’ own. If not, I think there is a round of medication that can take care of it.
My mom says it yes, it does hurt more on your period.
wow. glad i found this answer. i went to ER tonight and found out that i have a ovarian cyst. not lookin forward to my period now.
yes it possibly can, when you ovulate the egg comes from your ovary, and if you have a mass on it, it could deff affect the way you feel, if it gets extremely bad tho you should probably let your doc know, k?
