I am 6 weeks pregnant and have been cramping pretty badly. I had an ultrasound done and found I have a cyst on my ovary which is why I am cramping. I’m told it will not harm the baby and will go away eventually. I forgot to ask my DR: WHEN will it go away? How long do these things stick around for usually??

Everyone doesn’t have a cyst. The baby feeds off of the OVARIES until pregnant. Cysts are abnormal growths.

I am 31 yrs old. I was feeling right pelvic pain with low back pain that was going down my right leg. I went to see a GP and she said it is sciatica and gave me medrol dose pack. In the mean time I went to see obgyn and during ultrasound he said I have ovarian cyst on my right ovary but my uterus looked normal. He also said that my right ovary was enlarged. And could not find my left ovary. So weird, I have never had any issues before with other obgyn exams.
I am not sure if it was just easier for him he sent me to do a blood test CA125 without any explanation. I am terrified. I read so many different things about this test and that it’s usually required for ladies with family cancer history or post menstrual. My period has been normal. Except this last time it prolonged for 2 days with very light brown spotting.. Is it cancer?? Please help! I have one week to wait for the CA125 results..

I’ve been having pain in my right side near my pelvis… and it’s sharp sometimes and it comes and goes every few days. It’s a little painful when I pee or run. It’s not my appendix because it’s not super painful to the point where i can’t move and I have had this pain for about a month and haven’t died so it’s not my appendix. Please help what should I do?!

So yesterday around 7pm I began feeling a little nauseas when I went out to go eat with my family but nausea is a common thing for me so I thought nothing about it, but at 4am I woke up because I had a bad pelvic pain that felt like bloating, gas, cramps and soreness so I thought they were just serious gas cramps so I tried using the bathroom and expected a lot of flatulence or the Hershey squirts but everything came out normal, no hurting when I urinated or anything. So in the morning I still had the feeling but my period isn’t due yet; I actually DON’T know when I get my period most of the time now since I’ve become very irregular since stopping bc about 4 months ago after being on it off and on for 3 years but my last period was 2 weeks ago so I know it’s too soon for it to come back again. Anyways, I had sex on Christmas day, 5 days ago and 3 days ago. I tried finding out what it was and came to the conclusion that it could be implantation or a ruptured ovarian cyst or just something weird. So that was yesterday, but today when I awoke the pain was gone and everything seemed fine but around 7pm I went to the bathroom and saw light pinkish-red blood on the tissue but hasn’t leaked onto the pantyliner and has only showed up when I’ve wiped the last 2 times. I read that ovarian cyst rupture pain can be felt on the top part of the legs and hurts when you pee but I had neither of those symptoms which is why I think I should rule that out. I’ve never been pregnant before so I don’t know what to expect, but if anyone has ever had an experience like this please enlighten me.

I am 16 years old and about 6 months ago I had a CT scan that revealed I have a 6 inch ovarian cyst. The doctor told me it would just go away overtime and I have not done anything about it since. However, it bothers be all the time! I am scared it has turned into cancer I always have back pain and swelling, my clothes are sometimes tight. When I urinate it sometimes burns. The worst is when I work out sometimes I have to stop because I feel like the cyst is pressing on my lung and it is hard to breath. I know that ovarian cancer is very rare and I am only a teenager but could this be it? I am so scared and really embarrassed to go to the doctor, but I am sick of always being in pain. What should I do? Should I be worried?

I had an 5cm ovarian cyst rupture last Monday and I’m still having the pain but it seems to be getting worse I’m having these very sharp pains that I hit the floor when it happens my bowl movements are normal! Do I need to go the Er or what??? Help is this normal
