Two days ago I noticed that I had a line going from my belly button down to my pubic area, which is also known as a linea nigra.
I just had my period on Dec. 31st – Jan. 2nd and the last time I had sex was Dec. 24th – Dec. 27th. So there’s NO way I could be pregnant.
A couple of months ago whenever it was time for me to ovulate, my ovaries would feel swollen.
It hasn’t happened this last 2 months, though.
So I’m wondering if an ovarian cyst can cause your linea nigra to appear.
Note: It’s not extremely dark. It’s faint. I had my mother look at my stomach to see if she could see it too and she did, so I know I’m not imagining things.

Can ovarian cysts make a woman have a false negative pregnancy test? I was told that it should not bother it, but I have all of the symptoms of pregnancy and the home pregnancy tests keep saying that I am not pregnant. How is that possible that I am having pregnancy symptoms.

We are tying to get pregnant with our second child. I have had ovarian cysts for the past two years off and on. I know the pain and I am certain that is what it is. Its sharp pain on my ovary so I feel like its rupturing or growing more. Could me getting pregnant cause it to rupture?

I was told about a month ago that I had a bleeding cyst. I woke up out of a dead sleep with horrible stabbing pain and many trips to the bathroom. I was told that I need to wait about 8 weeks and then do another ultrasound to see if anything has changed. It seems like evertime my husband and I have sex that the cyst hurts really really bad, but it takes hours for it to start hurting. Is this normal with a cyst?

I thought it was another kidney stone but ct scan revealed numerous cyst on ovaries they gave me dilauid through i.v but when the meds wore off the pain came back hurting in groin area, hip and inner thigh and back, has anyone ever had those type of symptoms before? i mean really awful pain!! how was the cysts treated? any input would be greatly appreciated!!

can you please tell me is it possible that a right ovarian cyst can cause right renal hydronephrosis. is the right ovary near the ureter?

I just found out that I have ovarian cysts, my doctor said that they are small and that a lot of women have them and it is nothing to be concerned about. I also had a miscarriage 6 wks ago and from researching on-line I am worried that having the cysts could have caused my miscarriage.

about 3 weeks ago i had really bad pain in my lower back. I went to the doctor and they said i probably pulled the muscle. Now yesterday I went back for a pain right by my appendix and ovary and it turned out i ahd an ovarian cyst that had ruptured. Could this be the cause of my lower back pain even though my back pain started 3 weeks earlier? And would it also affect the back of my thighs too?

I had a lot of pain and nausea this past month and I’m almost certain it’s another cyst. I also had one in Feb. My AF was due yesterday. I am very regular. AF shows up every 28 days, but not this month. I took a hpt this morning and it was a BFN so I’m wondering if the cyst is causing this?

I have taken four pregnancy tests in the last 4 days all of which have showed posistive for pregnancy. I was told today by a friend that an Ovarian Cyst can cause the positives on a pregnancy test. I made an appointment with my OB/GYN to have my first check up since the tests showed positive. After my friend told me that these cysts could cause the positives I have been a little bummed. Anyone know?

It all started about 3 months ago, my left side really really hurt. If felt as if something was pulling at my side, I charlked it up to my IBS and moved on. I started noticing that every month since then, about a week before my peiod that my left side would hurt. I finally went to my Gyno and was told that I had a small cyst. I am curious if that is what could have been causing my side pain, it is also in the bend of my back as well. I went to a doctor this week and they said they thought I had pulled something, but they can’t find what. This is after x-rays and blood tests. Has anyone had these symptoms with an ovarian cyst or should I insist on more tests. I don’t know what to do, can someone please help!!!!

i have been checked for everything.. everything is norml.. cept i do get alot of pain first 2 days of my peirod.. everything else is pretty norm
i dont have PCOS i was tested n my doc n i talk about everything.. i was just wondering thts all
