i am 35 days late and am usually very regular. we are trying to concieve our second child, i took a blood test 17 days late, it was negative, i have had no changes in diet or exercise, im in no pain, and its not stress, ive heard an ovarian cyst could cause a late period, are there any other symptoms other than that, and has anyone gotten a negative blood test and actually been pregnant?

I went through a horrific time while I had an ovarian cyst, which at the time was thought to be endometriosis, and was found during a lap which revealed no endo, and a tennis-ball sized simple cyst.
The symptoms I had were:
1. Pain in thighs, on ovary, lower back
2. Nausea
3. Very Heavy, Disrupted Periods
4. Very bad fatigue
So anyway, I went to join the Navy, and during my medical I had to talk about my lap. The doctor wanted to know why my history had severe pain and disrupted and irregular periods, I explained it was due to the cyst and he just said "No, ovarian cysts cause little to no pain"
So now I’m waiting 4 months to see if the op really did improve the pain,
which it did, because it was 3 months ago and I have been symptom free
Is this guy wrong? Or were my symptoms unrelated to the cyst?
Oh & another thing, why didn’t my cyst show up on the scan? Fluid was shown up on my pelvis, does this mean that it may have been bursting and refilling?
Thanks –

I had an ovarian cyst on my left ovarie last summer, but I never checked back up on it because my doctor insisted that "these things go away on their own." I haven’t really had too bad of problems with it except when my period comes each month. I have had increasing pain on my left side that feels like I am being gutted, a burning/cramping sensation down my left leg, and my whole left side is sensitive to touch. This only occurs a few days before my period and during it, then it goes away. Before I marked it off as really bad cramps, but last night I was unable to sleep because of the pain and today I can’t walk because of it. Could that old cyst be causing this?
Is it typical for it to hurt just during your period? No other time?

I went to the ER in Colorado and they wanted to operate on my apendix but then I said no and released myself. Then on Tuesday I went to the ER where I live and they said it was ovarian cysts.
I have 16 cysts and 6 have ruptured.

I had ovarian cysts. They were deemed functional but there were quite a few on my last ultrasound.
They’ve since resolved themselves and today I was given the news that I’m officially cyst-free which is exciting lol.
But I wondered, could it have been the cysts that caused these symptoms:
- pain during sex
- spotting after sex
- extremely painful periods
- pain localized to my lower back during periods
I was just wondering. Now that the cysts are gone, these symptoms are gone too, so I just wondered..

I have PCOS which causes me to have many cysts on both of my ovaries. And I was wondering if stress could cause my cysts to rupture? It’s a question I wanted to ask my doctor, but totally forgot. Any information would be helpful. Thanks =)

I went to the ER because of cramping my hcg was 3200 and I’m 5 weeks along they seen a tiny sac and a small ovarian cyst on my left and right ovary. I’m calling my doctor asap in the morning. Should I be concerned? I’m scared.
