My wife was diagnosed with an ovarian cyst as a teenager. She never did anything about it because it only causes her slight discomfort while she is in ovulation. We asked the obgyn about it and I wasn’t satisfied with her answer. Will this cyst make it harder for to conceive?

I had an ultrasound yesterday. Had it done because my period is 3 weeks late and Im having lots of pelvic pain. Had a UTI 2 weeks ago and a kidney infection as well so they were also checking that. Well the Dr just called and told me the results of the ultrasound showed that I have a Large cyst on my right ovary and she made me an appointment with an obgyn next tuesday and said to be sure that I go to that appointment. kidneys looked fine and they didnt mention anything else.

Ive had a cyst on my Right ovary before and it did cause a lot of pain but I dont remember it being this bad. At that time the cyst was the size of a grapefruit and I had the cyst surgically drained. ( was only 12 years old then)

Well as soon as I hung up the phone with the Dr, I got a horrible pain. It almost made me pass out. I made it to the bathroom and come to find out I started my period. Its heavy but I expected that with being late. However the pain is so horrible. Its hurting all in my back and my pelvis, My legs seem really weak and can barely walk…Very sick to my stomach and now getting a migraine. Does this sound normal? I have never had a late period and I have never really had cramps with my period( Im 21 now) Ive taken tylenol rapid release but it hasnt helped yet. Is the pain just from my period starting after not having it for so long or does it have something to do with the cyst? I hate to call the Dr back because I have been there at least once a week for the past month and I dont want to bother her.

Two months ago i ended up in the emergency room with what i thought was appendicitis come to find out i had an ovarian cyst on my right ovary, my question is can you get ovarian cysts at any time or do you only get them right before you period?? Then last night i went pee and my pee is cloudy and it burns so bad even to the point i do not even want to go to the bathroom i’m scheduling a doctors appointment for today if i can…. but i was also wondering if this could just be an ovarian cyst causing me all these problems, after i pee my stomach kills to the point of tears also it is on my right side i cannot put pressure on my right leg and the whole side kills me when i lay on my back and when i lift my leg up… i just got off my period yesterday to much information i know but i need ideas, my doctor is not the type to investigate into anything he’ll probably tell me oh its just your cyst back…. but again can ovarian cysts come at any time??

i have been on birth control for 5 months
all of my periods have been regular and on time, including last month. the last time i had sex was twice in the week after my last period, around june 14ish. I took my pills fairly on time (within 2 hours of normal), and we used condoms.
for the past couple of months i have been getting this weird dull ache/pressure feeling in my pelvic area, in the middle, that comes and goes.
this month i missed my period and the pelvic pain is a bit worse than it has been before.
Even though I didn’t think there was any way that I could be pregnant, I have taken three pregnancy tests and they have all been negative.
Could a cyst make me miss my period? and cause pelvic aches/pressure? should I see a doctor or just wait and see if I get my period next month?
