okay so i was having some pains with my IUD so the doctor and i decided to remove it. it wasn’t coming out easy and hurt like hell.. turns out it embedded itself into my uterus. they pulled it out with a final tug. (i felt a pluck as it detached itself.) well.. I’ve been feeling weird since before they took it out. my boobs have grown two sizes and are sore, my back hurts, nausea, food aversions, strange dreams, cramping. i figured it was my IUD being stupid.. but it’s been out for a week now and it hasn’t let up. i also still have some pain around where it was stuck in my uterus. well i just found out when an iud implants its self into your uterus.. it can make it stop working… i had sex once the entire time it was in. it was unprotected.. definitely unplanned out of no where sex. now I’m really freaked out. I’m a single mom (it was a bf i slept with and we ended it not long after that..) with two kids… i can’t have another baby now! i thought i was protected. I have ovarian cysts its suppose to be hard to get pregnant and this would make two broken condom and a birth control malfunction!
has anyone had symptoms like this and it was just from the IUD?
I didn’t bleed at all after it was removed… are you suppose to?

I am 21 and i had surgery for an ovarian cyst last year in 2007. Prior to having to the cyst in the years before i used birth controls at least 2 different kinds and never had a problem. After my surgery i tried the orthra evra patch, the tricyclen lo, seasonique, femcon, and several others and they all gave me real bad lower stomach pains. No matter what medicine i take, the pain wont go away as long as i take the BCP. Im in a serious relationship and dont always use protection. What should i do? If you have experienced this, what BCP do you think will work for me, or why i am having these pains?

I am 45 and have been diagnosed with an ovarian cyst. I am scheduled for surgery to have it removed. However, my sex drive has really shot up and sex is all I think about. Is this normal? And will this desire for sex still be there after removal of ovaries (hysterectomy)? I feel like this could just be my hormones going bonkers. Please help. Any ideas welcome

I cured my cyst without surgery or medication. You can too. Read the blog at http://ovariancystsholisticcures.blogspot.com. Natural holistic cure that works. I tried it and been cyst free for 2 years.

my mother just came out of surgery this afternoon. 49 years young, good health, second removal of ovarian cysts in 2 yrs (last year they removed cysts, uterus and 1 ovary). Recently more cysts appeared so they removed the other ovary. Looks like nothing cancerous and everything went well (getting this second-hand from dad at hospital) but they won’t let her go home yet because her hemoglobin levels have dropped slightly and haven’t risen enough to be discharged. What are the possible reasons for this. Should I be concerned? Don’t know if dad is telling me everything is fine because it’s true, or so I don’t worry. The suspense is killing me!

Okay, I had two very large ovarian cysts. My Dr put me on birth control and I had bad side effects…but my largest (6.3 cm) went away/popped. My Dr wanted me to have surgery to remove my other one, which has grown to 6 cm because she was afraid of it flipping.
She put me on Spironolactone – which is supposed to reduce your water retention…anyway…I got my period today (or I think it is) very early. I started on the 1st and had it for 4 days and just started it now.
Should I have them check if the cyst burst before they do my surgery on the 30th? I don’t have any pain with this period and I didn’t have symptoms whatsoever. It feels like the last time my cyst burst
