I had an emergency abdominal surgery due to ruptured ovarian cyst. Lost a lot of blood, around 1.5Liter of blood. The gynae manage to reconstruct my ovary. The question is, will it effect my ovary if I make love?

For the last month I have had extreme lower back pain that runs down my legs and occasional tingling/pins and needles and weakness in the legs, mainly the left. Also extreme episodes of flank pain. The last 2 weeks I have begun to have pains in the upper right abdomen, epigastric pain and it is also a little bit in the upper left abdomen as well. It is a dull pain, like it’s really bruised, but after eating it gets really intense and more sharp pain. I also have frequent urination, my urine looks clear, a good colour with no bad odour and there is no burning or pain with urination, but I did a home urine strip test and it showed I have protein 30+, moderate to large bilirubin and moderate to large leukocytes.I have been having bad lower left abdo pain for the last few years, which the doctors are yet to find an answer too, last time I saw a doctor he said there was some thickening in that area, but as I was having irregular periods and because of the lower abdo pain, I was sent to a gyno, although my uterus and ovaries are all fine. The gyno did a 10 second internal and told me my pain was from scaring from surgery’s. ( 3 c-sections, ovarian cyst removal and 2 hernia repairs). I am going back to the doctor next week, but with these new pains in the upper stomach, and the results fro the urine test, should I try to see the doctor sooner. I am 26 yr old female. Thank you.
Also I have nausea all the time, but have only vomited a few times. It get’s a lot worse to the point where I am gagging but not actually vomiting.
To the first answer, yes it is just below the ribs and on both sides feels a little hard and swollen, like there is a bit of pressure behind it.

HI, I have been quite sick and in lots of pain for the last few years. I had an ovarian cyst removed and then 2 hernia repairs in a 2 year period. But since then I’ve still be in a lot of pain but not getting any answers.I have pain in the lower back, right down in the tail bone that radiates down my legs and lower abdominal pain. The pain in my lower abdomen, something it feels the same as the pain from a hernia, sometimes its bowel pain and sometimes it is ‘uterine, so bad that I’d swear I was about to push a baby out! All my reproductive organs are fine on a normal ultrasound, was put on a the pill again but it just increased my lower back pain.Doctor doesn’t understand how it could, but I stopped taking it and the lower back pain decreased a lot. Because of the bowel pain the doctor says it irritable bowel although I have no other symptoms and the medication and other things, such as more fibre, peppermint tea etc, have not helped at all. I do have a small lump, like a cyst under the skin, in the lower left abdo, and the doctor says also thickening of this area. Ultrasound and plain pelvic x-ray showed nothing. The gyno says my pain is from surgery’s ( 3 c-sections, 2 hernia repair and ovarian cyst removal), that I need to avoid more surgery and I’m too young for a hysterectomy (I’m 27) So basically, I’m in constant pain in the lower abdomen and lower back. Have trouble walking, standing for more than 10 minutes and doing basic activities like cooking dinner and showering. I have thickening in the lower left abdomen, but ultrasound and x-ray show nothing. I have very painful periods, although the pain and cramping is there all the time. Ultrasound of uterus etc showed nothing. The pill hasn’t helped the pain only increased my back pain. My doctor tell me now that there is nothing they can do, he thinks it’s a long term problem and I should see a pain management specialist. I don’t believe he has done enough to warrant this statement. I guess what I really want ot know, from professionals and/or anyone who has had a similar situation is should I go back to the same doctor and demand more test to be done and further investigation or should I go to a different doctor for a second opinion? I struggle with this because it has been gong on for so long that explaining it all to a new doctor is going to be difficult where as my current doctor know all the facts. Can you demand doctors do more? I’m about ready to give up and think hat this is how it will be forever. I’m not after a diagnosis, just help on perhaps what I should think about doing. Thank you.

MY OB/GYN and the high risk OB/GYN recommend surgery and they say it is "relatively safe" but I am scared that it will hurt my baby. On the other had the " wait and see" approach isnt good either because my cyst is big (10cm) and it could pop or twist on itself especially as the baby grows and that could cause ganggreene which could hurt me and the baby, I dont know what to do, any advice?

It’s pushing down on the bladder so would that cause my neice to be a bed wetter? She is 14 yrs. of age diabetic and over weight could that also be a risk surgery?

I had my gallbladder removed 3+ yrs ago, long term history of elevated liver enzymes not constant but several times over 10+ yrs with no found cause. I have been having pain for months, off and on. Recently had ultrasound, CT, MRI, all normal. I am wondering if anyone else is still having pain in that area after having the gall bladder removed?
I have a big problem with scarring internally so I am wondering if my gall bladder surgery left scar tissue behind that is now causing problems. I recently had an ovarian cyst removed and they couldn’t get to the ovary because of the scar tissue left from three c-sections. They told me I have "massive amounts" of scar tissue left in my lower abdomen so it got me thinking about the RUQ pain.
I see the GI specialist in a couple more weeks but this has been going on for a while and I am curious if anyone else has the same problem.

The surgeon said if I had keyhole recovery would be 2 weeks and open surgery would be 4 weeks. I had this done by keyhole and although I feel fine most of the time sometimes I will get a twinge when I sneeze for example. I received a letter this morning advising me that the cyst wasn’t cancerous. When should the twinges stop? Also has it effected my chances of conceiving in the future? will I have a period every month or every 2?
