ovarian cyst questions?

i had an ovarian cyst in december and it cut off my blood flow to my ovary so i had to get emergency surgery. they put me on a very high dose of birth control to prevent another one from forming. well now im starting to get pain again similar to before. it hurts when i have sex and i’m worried i’m going to need surgery again. i went to the gyno last week and they felt around when i told them and they didn’t feel anything wrong. they told me if it continued to call and i’d get an ultrasound well i’m going to call this week but i really don’t want surgery again. do you think that if the cyst was in need of surgery they would have felt it during my exam

I have ovarian cysts and am terrified of surgery so I don’t plan on getting them out unless it poses a threat to my health. But I was just wondering, does having large cysts decrease my chances of becoming pregnant?

Im trying to get everything straight.
I went to the ER last night, Found out by an ultrasound that I have a 2cm cyst on my left ovary. My right ovary is healthy, I do not have a tilted uterus. The doctor said there is nothing to worry about but he wanted me to see my original doctor and talk to him about the steps I can take to help get rid of this cyst.
Well I cannot see my original doctor until the 5th. So in the meantime I am researching on what to do.
So far a few people I know have had or know someone who has had an ovarian cyst. Most of them just let it go. And most of them had kids.
So I read that if I take birth control it will help get rid of it. But how long does it take to get rid of an ovarian cyst?
My husband and I have been trying to conceive for the past year and I believe maybe the cyst is making it harder for us to conceive?
The doctor at the ER said I can conceive just fine, He also said that even pregnant woman have ovarian cysts.
So if I have this cyst does that mean when I ovulated my egg didn’t come out properly?

The doctor at the ER said that when he looked at ly left ovary there was some fluid from a ruptured cyst and then the 2cm one. so does that mean these cysts are not gonna stop coming?
So I should just take birth control and hold off on the trying to conceive until my ovaries are safe to try again.

Will clomid help with these cysts? I know clomid is a medicine to help you ovulate! But if my egg isnt going down properly than will cloid help with that?

Is there an alternative to help get rid of these cysts besides birth control and besides surgery?

Have any of you had cysts but conceived fine?

Ovarian Cyst Removal Surgery Risks?

I’m 27 years old, never married, never had any children. 4 weeks ago I had an ovarian cyst removal surgery, where the cyst was 18cm x 18cm (pretty huge). I have been for some reason recovering slowly, one day feeling great and another terrible. The doctor advised that I return to work after 6 weeks from surgery. Work, however, is not understanding and does not really believe that I need more than 4 weeks and my boss has required that I go back to work tomorrow regardless of what I feel. The problem now is: I have been suffering from severe insomnia for the past week, have muscle pains in the abdominal area (had my doctor check it and he said it’s due to overstraining), and whenever I wear any pants or anything tight I feel terrible.
Add to that that my work is a two hour commute from my home (each way) and I am staying in a pretty hot country right now.

What is advisable with such conditions? Am I facing any risks by going to work anyways? Please help, I’m very worried!

I recently had surgery to have a cyst removed that grew out of my left ovary. It was huge, 20 cm that filled my adomen, making it huge and painful. I am wondering how often people have more problematic cysts after one is removed? Also what is a good way to prevent another one from growing?

what should I do? Is there any other way to cure these without surgery or is what medical attention my doctors giving the only solution. plz help

Large Ovarian Cyst…..?

I have a large ovarian cyst… 9cm x 9.5cm. I have surgery on Tuesday to remove it. The doctor said it appeared to be a simple cyst, non-septated and no free fluid.
She said not to worry about cancer and the risk is small, she even said I could take birth control pills to see if it went away. I said no, I want it out of me now… (I’ve known about this for a month)

My question is: have any of you been through anything like this? I’m 29, have had 3 children via c-section, my tubes are tied… so she is going to do a laparotomy because she said it would be hard to do the microscope through the incision scars.

Just any comments. :) I’m doing nothing but googling ovarian cancer because I’m sooooo paranoid.
