I have a 10.5 x 8 cm cyst on my right ovary. It has grown since November. What are the chances that it will keep growing, and is it too big to be taken out with laparoscopic surgery?

So, I am only just 15 and i have been diagnosed with my 4th ovarian cyst :’(

I have been told it will need to be removed but i’m still waiting too see my consultant, i have already had 2 laparoscopies in the past (keyhole surgery, incisions in my belly button, right bikini line and just below my belly button) because they are quite recent surgery marks- possibly a year(ish) ago, are they likely to do another laparoscopy or open surgery?

Just interested if there is a certain amount of laparoscopies they can do per person seeing as i have scar tissue as well?

Any advice?

It is 7.2 cm in my right ovary. Theyre doing it lapriscopally (or however yu spell that lol). They found it the other day when I went to the ER for extremely severe abdominal pains.

I am in the hospital (it is 3 in the morning) & I have been here since about noon.I had to get sent to the er because I was literally screaming in math because my stomach hurt so bad. I thought it might have been a really bad flare up of crohn’s disease (which I was diagnosed with in 05 & so I am very used to hospital stays lol) but it was wayyyy worse pain. The lab tests came back negative for everything so they did an ultrasound & turns out I have a dangerous 6 cm ovarian cyst. He said that my gynecologist will probably want to remove it. So what are the risks of having surgery to remove it ? I’m 14 btw. Thanks (:

Two years ago I had surgery to remove ovarian cyst when I was pregnant. I lost the baby and I was to scared to go back to my 6 months check up. I’m trying to get pregnant again, so far no luck. but I have been having cramps and I read that it could just be scare tissue, but i don’t know. Can scare tissue keep me from getting pregnant?

If you have any information on the surgery I had, or Scare tissue and pregnancy would helpful.

OK so let’s get this straight… I am 12 years old and right now I am at the hospital (they let me bring my laptop) and tomorrow I am going to have the cysts on my ovaries removed. They said they are both somewhere near 5-6 cm and they hurt very badly so they have to remove them.

Well the doctors didn’t really say much so lemme ask… does it hurt a lot after the surgery? And about how long do you think it will take to recover? Okay and one more question…will it be hard to… um…urinate? Because they told me that if I don’t pee, then they’ll have to stick a tube down there…I forgot what it’s called but I don’t really feel like doing that so…yeah.

2 days ago I found out that I have an ovarian cyst. 9.6 cm big. I’m getting it removed on Monday. It grew within a month. It hurts like crazy!! How was the surgery process? Recovery time? Is it extremely painful? Is a blood transfusion required? I was asking my doctor these questions and he really wasn’t giving me a straight forward answer. Thanks for your time! I’m getting a Laparatomy

I had keyhole surgery 3 days ago for a ruptured ovarian cyst and to take out my appendix. The pain is still really bad and I dont know how long till I should be able to do normal things such as walking without pain. And if you have any tips to relieve pain that would be appreciated. Thanks x

46 year old female around 230lbs.
Normal ferritin serrum levels are 13-150, she has 487 ng/ml
Normal ALT(SGPT) is 30-65, she has 330 U/L
Normal AST (SGOT) is 15-37, she has 116 U/L
Normal GGT is 5-85, she has 631 U/L
The last three have been increasing over the past month or so.
Symptoms are fatigue, digestive problems, hair loss, headaches, water retention (swollen feet).
About 3 weeks ago she dealt with inflammation and migraines along with high blood pressure and high cholesterol.
Patient has had ovarian cysts which were removed, a hysterectomy and removal of appendix.
Forgot to mention abdominal pain (stomach,liver)
Thereof also a patch of skin 2 inches bells her navel that is about and inch or so in diameter that is significantly darker than the rest of her body, like a light brown spot that changes colour reddish, purplish, brownish. It is not a mole.

How to get pregnant when i had endometrioma cyst again after 2 months from the 1st surgery of 9.5cm cyst?
I had found out a 9.5 cm ovarian/endometrioma cyst on my right ovary tube, then i had immediate laparascopic surgery, and doctor treated me on 4 dose of zoladex injection. But on the 2nd dose, they found the cyst had grown up to 4.5 cm again. Now i’m trying to have babies. Because they told me there’s no other way to control the cyst growth except being pregnant or using a birth control pills…. What should i do to get pregnant without risking my cyst getting bigger? I want to have it naturally, without hormonal medicines or any other tech.
PS: I have asked this question b4, but it seem nobody know how to answer and give me advices. Please….. I need somebody to help me on this.. Thanks.
