ok some1 help meeeeeeeeee!!! I am young and very worried about something! I havent had that much of pain but all of a sudden last thursday night i had this weird feeling on my left side near the hip bone(or watever bone that is) before the weird feeling started i was doing some push-ups, sit ups and stretches. It has been feeling weird, on and off. and my period started on wednesday. (not my first period) I am worried could I have an ovarian cyst? I really dont wanna go to the doctor, or hospital or anything unless if it gets worse…or i have bad pain. an ultrasound i has found a ovarian cyst and a uterine fibroid. i am having another ultrasound next week to check the cyst again. if it ends up being something serious like cancer is the fibroid a sign that it could have spread to the uterus or are fibroids all together different? i have just been feeling so blah lately and have this bad feeling that something is really wrong, at the same time i think it these feelings might just be nerves and all be put on by anxiety. i initially went to the doctor for back pain and had a ct scan that led to a ultrasound led to this. I never really put all the symptoms together until now so i haven’t discussed them with the doctor. i looked up the symptoms for ovarian cancer and i have all of them. i am newly separated from m y husband and am now scared of what i will do if i do end up having cancer. i feel like if i go to the doctor now and say i have all these symptoms i will sound like i am just making them up from reading on it. what is the best thing to take for indigestion and bloating? i have tried tums and prilosec and midol but nothing is helping anymore

My husband and I have been trying to conceive for a year. My doctor diagnosed me/w PCOS because I was overweight with no menstrual period and infertile. I have acne but I mean I don’t think its out of control. I don’t have hair overgrowth or cysts on my ovaries. I was put on medroxyprogesterone for two months then I went on metformin to help with weightloss and fertility. A month later, I took a pregnancy test and it was positive. Before that, I was nauseous, vomiting, sensitive to certain smell, and cramping with breast tenderness. I didn’t think anything at first because those were some of the side effects of metformin. Now I’ve taken 3-4 pregnancy test and they all say positive but it could also be an ovarian cyst since all the symptoms are similar to that. I have been cramping on my lower right abdomen once in while but otherwise, nothing too severe. Made an appt with the doctor but need to what others think…some insight…

What are the symptoms of an ovarian cyst if you have had one?

When my boyfriend and I were having sex, I randomly got alot of pain in my abdomen. The sex was unprotected and since then the pain hasn’t been as bad as it was at the time, but it’s still there, and I researched ovarian cysts and found I have some symptoms… such as tender breasts, and fatigue and nausea. Last night I randomly got so tired I literally could barely talk.
However, I recently started the contraceptive pill and have been on it for just over a week.
I’m not sure if this could have caused it, or if it could be ovarian cysts, or if I should just wait for it to pass?
I’m going to see a nurse next week, I just want an idea for now so I can quit worrying.

About four months ago, I began to experience period irregularities accompanied with this dull ache in my lower abdomen, and when pressure was applied it hurt horribly. The pain got worse and worse and then finally it was like something blew up! My mother, who is a nurse and has suffered from polycystic ovaries her entire life, felt of my right ovary and told me I had a cyst there that probably burst. Indeed it had. The pIain went away and everything went back to normal.

About four days ago, I began to experience lower back pain as well as localized pain over my right ovary again. I have missed my period so far this month, but I am NOT sexually active, so I know I CAN’T be pregnant. Well, I felt of the area around where the ovary is, and I could feel a large lump that hurt especially bad when pressure was applied. My mother confirmed that there was somethig about the size of a large egg on my right ovary, while my left one is fine. I walk around with my ride side feeling tense and heavy.

My question is, is it normal to have horrible back pain, period misses, and mild nausea with an ovarian cyst? My last one was quite similar, but it was much smaller and it ruptured. And what other symptoms should I look for? And can a lot of stress only help a cyst to form? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

my girlfriend recovered from a ruptured ovarian cyst but still has pains in her ovaries .what can she do to help minimise or cure the pains?????

I have been suffering with ovarian cysts for about a year now with irregular periods since my period started. lately, I do not seem to have any periods until the cysts burst which is excruciating. I have been prescribes percocet and birth control pills (combined pill called zovia). I have been on the pill for 3 months now, starting after my last ovarian cyst rupture so it was supposed to be done with. I have been taking the pill regularly at the same time and this week have started having symptoms of a cyst. Now my right ovary is radiating in pain like a cyst is about to rupture.. same feeling I have gotten with every cyst before.
Has anyone else been on birth control who has this same problem? Did the pills work for you or did you continue to get cysts?

Anyone have any insight as to why I am still getting cysts if I am supposedly not ovulating? Thanks (ive tried google with no good hits and calling my dr. tomorrow to get an appointment sometime this week)
I’ve already had bloodwork which he said was alright except my biliruben levels were pretty low. He mentioned PCOS but said he wanted to see if the birth control helped first. He seemed pretty confident that the dose of birth control her gave me would be sufficient in stopping my ovulation. Has anyone had this happen to them before? Thanks.

Ovarian Cysts – My friend gets ovarian cysts very frequently and what is supposed to happen when then start. Should I take her to the hospital? She is very sensitive to pain medicine so I cant give her anything too strong. I gave her 1/2 of a tylenol codene what should be done. If she waits will the pain start to go away?
This is the 3rd time in the past 2 months that this has occurd and all the dr’s do is give her pain medicine. They tested her and said the worst thing would be to remove 1 ovary… I don’t think so, there has got to be another way?
