Every month the pain in my left ovary makes my whole left side throb, its very painful, I’ve tried tylenol, hot tea, heat pads, warm towel, anything you can think of that grandmas claim to work. Is there something else, or do I have to put up with this every month? I’m only 24, and I’ve already had a child.

please someone help me as this is driving me insane! me and my partner have been trying for another baby for the last 12 months with no result, 3 months ago i was rushden to hospital and diagnosed with a ruptured ovarian cyst. had a laprosocopy etc, after 3 weeks i was fine. my last period was on 24th oct 07 and im always 28 days regular, although my last one was very light. im late my breasts are VERY tender, ive been very sick as i have severe heartburn, my breasts are bigger, etc i have done about 50 pregnancy tests ranging from really dear ones to cheap ones to the early result ones all are negative. went to the docs as all my symptoms on the net could be another cyst but would have to be large to cause problems. Im not sure one could grow in the 3 months i left hospital and i was ultrasound scanned before i left hospital. Ive been OK up til today, didnt feel to bad. last nite and all day im peeing every 10 mins. now have a strong pulling pain all in left side. can any one help?

I have had an ovarian cyst before. After being on bc for a few years, the pain from them ceased. Now I have started taking the bc shot. I’m in the second 3 month cycle for the shots and have had periods like a normal period, and slight spotting after sex. I’ve experienced more pain about where my ovaries are, and have been abnormally tired the last week. I’ve also had more bloating than normal, recently pretty constipated. I was wondering if any of these symptoms are connected? Or if they are just random things. I have an appointment with my OBGYN this week, but also wondering if there were other ideas?
was the bc faulty? or something else?

put on a considerable amount of weight with an ovarian cyst. I have just been diagnosed with an ovarian cyst and my diet has not changed whatsoever. I’ve always weighed about 10 1/2 stone and have had symptoms similar to pregnancy for about 2 months…went for an ultrasound and an ovarian cyst has now been diagnosed, I can only put my fluctuating weight down to that…I am now weighing almost 12 stone…my heaviest weight EVER! Is this normal??

Im only 14 and right before my periods start I always have really bad cramps and it puts me in tears, it hurts to breath in and out and wakes me up in the middle of the night, I have never had cramps and have pnly been having this for 3 to 4 months, I have nausea and vomiting. I go in for an upper Gi and a colanoscapy in 3 weeks I have had 3 ultra-sounds and mri, cat scan but no pelvic exam, I’m afraid to go in for my first one. My doctor, mother, and friends are all trying to get me to go in have just have it done, I’ve looked it up, Is it really uncomfortable? and everyone thinks I may have and Ovarian Cyst, would this have came up in the other tests I have had? and others who have had an ovarian cyst can you list your symptoms? Thanks

I think I have some of the symptoms of an ovarian cyst, but I don’t know what to tell my mom because I know she refuses to take me to an ob/gyn. Is it possible to treat ovarian cyst symptoms without having to see a doctor? At what point might a doctor visit be necessary?

i have been having pain on my left side and in my back the last few days or even a week. it hurts even when i walk. sex is very painful( deep inside… not from dryness). i feel bloated and crampy but its about time for pms. could this just be pms or possibly an ovarian cyst in your opinion ( i am making an appt. to see my gyno)
