pain, very mild, started saturday last week. it would come and go during the day. it was on my lower left abdomen/pelvis. then wednesday, had to pee every 30 mins with constant pain there on my lower left and would be relieved after peeing. that lasted 1/2 the day. then friday, my lower left back ached a bit when i had to pee….relieved after peeing. only happened like 3 times. now today my right is starting to hurt a little. my left has been bothering me daily every few hrs. not sure if i have a UTI, cyst or what, but i am going to doc tomorrow….any ideas? my period was 5 days early about 2 weeks ago, so doubt i am pregnant. urinating doesnt hurt or burn. also before last saturday was drinking soda, barely any water. since then, been drinking water and cranbury juice.

I went in because I was having pregnancy symptoms, ran a test I wasnt pregnant. Doc diagnosed me with an ovarian cyst after hearing I have pain during sex, lower back pain, a pressure/fullness feeling during sex and a sharp pain in my lower right side of my abdomen that occurs when I stand up quickly after sitting for a long time.

She reccomended I call her in a week if the pain persists and she’ll do a pelvic ultrasound.

The question I’m having is how could I have developed a cyst while I’m on the birth control pill?
I messed up 3 of my pills last month, leading me to believe I may have gotten pregnant.. Could that have caused the cyst?

Also, I (stupidly) forgot to mention to her the extreme fatigue I’ve been having since the beginning of this month. Could that also be related to the cyst?

I looked ovarian cysts up on a couple different websites and I have most of the symptoms of it, it just seems so weird that birth control pills are used to prevent them, and I got one while on the pill.

Has anyone on here ever had an ovarian cyst before? What was it like? Did you have those same symptoms?

A few weeks ago I found out I have a 2.65 cm cyst on my ovary…I have had the symptoms for over 6 weeks now, but I also have hot flashes…are they symptoms of a cyst also? Also I have an IUD place and my dr thinks that the IUD is causing all of my cramping (which feels worse than labor contractions) But why would it only cause pain on one side instead of both? Now I have to go in this week and get the IUD removed (which makes the IUD a total waste of money now..ive had it for 4 weeks) I can’t go a day without being in severe pain..and Im sick of it. I just wish drs in WI were smart and would just remove the stupid cyst.

im on clomid 50 mg and my period is due 2 days . well i know it sounds stupid but i feel pregnant, i cant sleep on my tummy it hurts all night , when i climb the stairs my stomach hurts like i got my period but there is never any blood when i relax it goes away and im fine. could this be an ovarian cyst or could i really be pregnant or could these pains just be a clomid symptom?

i NEVER felt my period coming in any other cycles , even when it showed up it dint hurt untill at the end of the day.

I suffer from ovarian cysts, two of which have been surgically removed in the past. I was put on the pill to stop this from happening but eight years on, I have had to come off it. I have been off the pill for four months and I think I have developed another cyst because I am in a lot of pain and I have symptoms which are similar to what I experienced all those years ago. The previous cysts were 6cm before they started to cause any pain and im wondering could I have developed another cyst that big in only 4 months?

For the last year, each month I have had problems with ovarian cysts getting too big and rupturing, and then getting me sick, I’ve had surgeries where cysts were removed from both sides, and birth control pills don’t seem to help. A week ago I went to ER with extreme pain and vomiting, and was told there are 9 little ones between the two ovaries. i know if they are small they shouldnt be bothering me, but none of the other tests done showed any problems! I now have a fever, vomiting, headache, nausea, my pelvic area hurts really bad, and now it feels like my stomach and chest are being ripped to shreds by glass!!! HELP!

I cant even begin to count all the symptoms i have that make me think i have an ovarian cyst but i have a really good bit of them. My question is could it be getting worse. About 2 months ago i fainted in school and started throwing up and the pain in my abdomen was so bad it just hurt so much like the worst pain i ever felt the doctor said he thought it might be an ovarian cyst and suggested i go to an OBGYN i never ended up getting the time to make the appointment so i never went. about a month ago i had sex for the first time, and my boyfriend and i have done it quite a few times since then and every time we have sex it hurts. but over the past week or two it feels as if my symptoms are getting worse. ive began to get even more tired and its really hard to wake me up the past two days it has taken like twenty minutes of constant nagging from my boyfriend to wake me up and i slept 8-9 hours last night and 2-4 hours this afternoon and im still tired. i keep getting very dizzy its almost constant light headedness and dizziness. whenever i eat i feel really bloated and sick and i feel nauseas about 3 times a day and my stomach hurts a lot. i have been experiencing shortness of breath all day but really bad for the last few hours. does anyone know what could be wrong with me? i believe the day i fainted might have been the day the cyst ruptured if in fact that is what it was. and if so could the symptoms get worse over time?? Can 16 year olds get ovarian cysts??

I didn’t get an ultrasound but my doctor is pretty sure I have one (and I also am pretty sure, I checked all the symptoms online). She said we’ll just wait it out and see what happens.
At what point should I be worried? I have abdominal pain and it gets pretty bad sometimes, but what are the sure signs that I should contact her again?

My girlfriend was in the hospital at the beginning of the year with an ovarian cyst because it popped. She has been fine up untill a few weeks ago and she has been in alot of pain. She is in alot of pain right now. Is there anything she can do to help it other than going to the doctor??? Any help is appreciated!!
