The Shocking Truth About How Often Conventional Treatment Fails And Leads To Risky And Often Unnecessary Surgery!

Ovarian Cyst Symptoms Archives

My last period was on September 10. On September 21 I forgot to take my pill and took two on September 22. I also had sex with my husband on September 22. Beginning on September 25 I started having recurring sharp pains in my lower left side, around where my left ovary would be. Beginning yesterday, September 29, I started feeling very strange. My heart beat began getting erratic, and I have trouble keeping balance (off and on). Today I had to stop teaching in the middle of class because I got so disoriented that I couldn’t keep my thoughts straight. Also today, my nipples have begun being extremely sensitive and, in fact, painful to the touch. My period is due a week from tomorrow (October 8), so I know it’s too soon to take a pregnancy test. My symptoms seem to be similar to ovarian cysts. Which do you think it could be?

As a side note, I’ve been married for two years now and would LOVE to have kids. Unfortunately, my husband is not ready. I’ve been talking about it constantly for a couple of months, and I kid him all he time that when we have kids we need to get pregnant in the month of September so I don’t have to miss any school (I’m a teacher). I’m really scared that if I AM pregnant he’ll think I did it on purpose…so I’m not necessarily hoping to be and reading too much into signs. What do you think could be wrong with me? I’ve never felt anything like this before.

I think I have cysts on my right ovary. I’ve had them before (surgically removed) and now I’m feeling the same kind of pain… and sometimes it radiates to my inner thigh, like where my leg connects to my body. Just wondering if this is typical. Thanks.

ovarian cyst? pregnant? nothing?

My period is "late" though normally irregular varying 4 – 5 weeks from the previous one. Normally though I will get a few pimples, and sort of "feel" my period coming, but I haven’t felt any of these this month. Though it has been over 5 weeks.. which has happened before, but not within the year. I am sexually active and not on birth control- though he pulls out. ( Yes I know this is not the best method- please no lectures ). Last week I had cramps, but no period. I took a test and it said negative. Over the weekend my breast became very sore and sensitive- and still are. I have also had cramps off and on, but still no period, I have noticed though that the cramps seemed to be more centered to my left side. Yesterday my boyfriend and I had sex and it was extremely painful. I have been sexually active with only him for about 2 years and have never felt a pain like this. It felt like a very sharp stabbing pain. It continued for about 3 hours after as well… with the sharp pain coming back when I moved. I took another pregnancy test today- with the results again coming back negative.

I was looking on the internet and found stuff on ovarian cyst and how they may produce some of the symptoms I am having. There is a history of endometrios in my family. Could this be the cause? If it is a cyst – should I just wait it out and see if I get my period next month?

Anyone who has been in a similar situation? Or have any insight?
Thanks!

*Side note – I was at the doctors about 2 1/2 weeks after my last period. I was very sick (fatigue, body pain, headaches) and had lots of blood work done – though nothing was diagnosed except a "spring time virus". They also did a blood test for pregnancy – and it came back negative.

I have have been feeling like my front pelvic area has had a lot of pressure/fullness and is just uncomfortable. I have had symptoms of a bladder infection but went to get it checked out and the test came out negative, as well and negative pregnancy test. I often feel like i have to pee and have some vaginal burning/itching. I have always had irregular periods, only having 3-4 a year. I have not had this discomfort before though. Its not a sharp pain, more like like a persistant pressure.

Any idea what this could be?

Here’s my story. About 5-6 weeks ago I started to get lower abdominal discomfort in the middle, and I would feel like throwing up but never would. No fever. I felt and still feel PLENTY well enough for school. About 3 weeks ago, my mom took my to the ER and I had a pelvic exam and an ultrasound. They did not find anything but they assumed it was ovulation. I started my period 2 days later so it could not have been. My problems don’t seem as bad as at the time but I am still getting these symptoms.

IS IT POSSIBLE THAT THEY MISSED AN OVARIAN CYST? IS IT EVEN REMOTELY LIKELY?

One thing I can’t explain is about once a week (not the same time each week) I will get tenderness and discomfort about an inch or so above my belly button. I also have gained 4 lbs even though I have been eating the same, have not been training, and MY JEANS FIT THE SAME.

I am 14, female, not sexually active, and skinny but not too skinnyl

ovarian cysts pain, help?

About a month ago, I was diagnosed with several ovarian cysts. The pain wasn’t severe, just a few back aches here and there, but today (the start of my period), it is at it’s worst. I don’t think any have ruptured, but the lower part of my back feels inflamed and in so much pain. I can’t sit up and all I’ve been doing is crying. Should I go to the emergency room?

the week before my period, for a few days i am incredibly nauseous (no vomiting or diarrhea). i was just wondering if this was common. and how to control this particular symptom ( i can deal with the sharp pains in the pelvic area, but i hate feeling nauseous.) any help is greatly appreciated.

have pain in my lower a domin. It comes Nd it’s goes. It’s really painful. When it’s here. There is pain on my right side on my private area. It goes up to the crease of where the stomach and private area
meet. There is pain in my lower back too. The pain makes me want to cry.

I have been fasting so I haven’t been drinkig much water.
I had this pain a while ago and I was rushed to the emergency room but the doctor did and ultrasou d and he said it a as not appendix pain. It he wanted to check for an ovarian cyst. My mom did not let him be ause I am very young.

I am rreally young and I’m still a virgin. I am 14.

What can this be?
its not about affording water lol. I have a cooler in my house and I dont have any financial issues in my family, but thanks for the advice. BTW I dont drink anything other than bottled mineral water even if I have a cooler.
It makes my mom angry because she thinks im a snob but I dont go near tap.

-Does an ovarian cyst make conception less likely? On a website i read that the only condition in which it effects chances of conceiving is "polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS)" –which i don’t have any symptoms of.
Is this true that other kinds do not effect it?

-Even still, does the frequency of occurrence effect my chances? Does it mean I have unhealthy ovaries?

9 years ago I had a very large ovarian cyst which I had removed along with my left ovary and fallopian tube. I have had a pain in my right ovary all morning and at first I thought it was ovulation pain but now I’m worried it might be another cyst. Last time I had no symptoms and we only noticed something was wrong when I had a large distended stomach. I have a big tummy anyway from too many krispy kreme but nothing like that last time. I’m so worried that my last hope for a child might be damaged. I’ve booked in with the doctor on Monday but I was just wondering if I have an increased likelihood because I’ve already had one cyst.
