I am recently got married. My age is 25 years. I have been detected dermoid cyst (5.4×4.5 cm) three months back. Is sex can be the cause of my cyst because uptil now I have not reached orgasm. DOctor has given me the option of surgery. In the worst scenario my right ovary can be removed… will i be able to conceive with one ovary…. Please help friends… I also want to be a MOM…

I recently had an ecography done and descovered that I have an ovarian cyst as big as 1 cm and a half.

I was prescribed a birth control treatment for 6 months, with Logest. But, my problem is, I really don’t wanna be taking birth control pills due to the effects they have on the body.

I generally am balanced, but I read that it causes moodiness, depression, lowers libido, lowers lubrification, lowers sexual enjoyment and such….and these effects stay long after you’re done with the treatment.

Is there a way I could get rid of my cyst without having to take these extra chemicals that will likely throw my hormonal system OFF balance, than do any good?

Is there a homeopatic way, naturistic way to do this? Any herbs? There has to be something….I really don’t wanna be taking birth control pills.

Q: The first suggestion sounds like causing another imbalance…I’m naturally thin, there is no way I can cut calorie intake. But thanks for taking the time to answer my question.

I have a cyst on my right ovary and I was wondering what the treatment options were. My husband and I would like to try and have a baby before he deploys. My cyst is very small, but during ovulation I was in EXTREME pain where I couldn’t move an inch, or even lay down. I believe I’ve had it for 4 months now because I was given the wrong birth control and at that time and had my period 4 times in 1 month.. ever since then I have been in mild to severe pain. I don’t want to go on birth control, are there any other options besides surgery.. ?

SO I’M TRYING TO GET PREGNANT..BUT i was diagnosed with polycystic ovarian syndrome. I have been on follistin or follistim before but it didnt work.(follistin is a fertility treatment) I needed a higher dose but too expensive for me right now. Has anybody tried anything else that has worked for you guys. or any ideas of what I could try to get pregnant?
I have taken metformin before….. i have been trying to get pregnant for a year now and nothing yet. I’m starting to think of adoption.

I found out I miscarried on Jan. 17th. I should have been 7w4d, found out the baby only made it 6w4d. I don’t know how to get over it. It is all I can think about. I am really heartbroken and depressed right now. My husband says I am letting it consume my life. I just don’t think he really understands what I am going thru. We tried for a year and a half before I finally got pregnant with that baby thru an IUI. I have had my tubes checked, did clomid and femara, and had the ovarian drilling to drain the cysts off my ovaries. I am so frustrated because the doctors can’t give me any reason for why I miscarried. They did genetic testing on the baby to see if something was wrong and there wasn’t. Now they are running more tests to see if I have a blood clotting disorder. I am so sick all of the tests and sorry for TMI, but having vaginal ultrasounds all the time to see if I am ovulating and everything else they have to do. I wanted this baby so bad, because it meant all that would finally be over and all the disappointments every month of either never having a period or not getting a BFP would be over too. I may have lost this baby early, but I seen the heartbeat and seen the baby on the Ultrasound, this baby was as real to me as if I would have had it. I just don’t know how to get over this miscarriage. Everyone keeps telling me it will happen, but I tried for a year and a half and was thru tons of fertility treatments and finally got pregnant just to lose it makes absolutely no sense to me. So telling me it will happen, just upsets me and no I can’t believe that. Anyone got any good advice?

I gave birth if February. I hemorrhaged a week after. Then a month after that I had surgery bc I was still bleeding and in pain. It was my endometriosis. I have had 7 surgeries for the endo already. Even after the surgery I kept bleeding. My dr put me on the pill which did stop it for one cycle. Then I went to fertility treatments, but it failed. My last period was VERY heavy lasted 5 days and stopped. 6 days later I started again and heavy painful. I had an ultrasound about 2 weeks ago and there were 7 cysts on my left ovary. They are all between 1-2 cm.I was put back on the pill to stop the bleeding and to try and shrink the cysts. But I am still in pain, after 2 weeks on the pill and still bleeding. I wil stop bleeding for maybe a day or two, but then it starts again, and is heavy. Any idea what could be going on? Could the cysts be making me bleed? I’m calling the doctor tomorrow, but I am very worried. I am 27 yrs old if that matters. Any help, please!!!

I have had 3 miscarriages all within the 1st trimester, 9 weeks. All blood work has tested OK up until the the other day, some thing showed hyperstimulation of my ovaries. Well, I was on Clomid. Clomid can cause hyperstimulation of ovaries as well as enlarged ovaries and extra follicles (all of which I have had within a month, never before taking clomid).
I am trying to conceive again.
The dr. (endocrynologist) said he thinks I have a variable form of PCOS because of the enlarged ovaries, excess follicles, and hyperstimulation of my ovaries. He said variable because he finds it interesting that I dont have elevated testosterone, am not insulin resistant, and have no signs of cysts on my ovaries.
I have had a hystosalpicogram, chromosome tests, and every blood panel possible (including recurrent miscarriage panel). Every thing normal except for the hyperstimulated ovaries& ultrasound showing enlarged ovary and extra follicles.
The dr. stated that he thinks the hyperstimulation of my ovaries is causing my endometrium lining to stay thin and thats why Ive miscarried in the past — because babies arent able to burrow deep enough (essentially).
His treatment plan includes going on birth control for 2 mos. to suppress my ovariesn which he says after going off will make my ovaries function normally and then put me on a different form of ovulation medication and try to conceive on my own. Every thing Ive read online says that clomid could have caused my symptoms (PS: another dr. prescribed the clomid and he doesnt think I needed it — blood work was never done before the prescription was given by the other dr. I just want to make sure this makes sense. Has any one else heard similar??? All Ive read online says I should take progesterone to build the lining of my uterus up, but that wasnt mentioned by the dr.
Has any one heard of PCOS causing hyperstimulation of the ovaries and using birth control to suppress the ovarian function and then when you go off birth control your ovaries work normally? And had babies?
