I HAD Ovarian Cysts and when I got an ultrasound they were gone and I have Uterine Fibroid Tumors. What causes these and can they effect me having a child? I am not getting pregnant after 5 years and am ready to give up.

I am 16 years old and about 6 months ago I had a CT scan that revealed I have a 6 inch ovarian cyst. The doctor told me it would just go away overtime and I have not done anything about it since. However, it bothers be all the time! I am scared it has turned into cancer I always have back pain and swelling, my clothes are sometimes tight. When I urinate it sometimes burns. The worst is when I work out sometimes I have to stop because I feel like the cyst is pressing on my lung and it is hard to breath. And sometimes I go up to 6 months without a period. I know that ovarian cancer is very rare and I am only a teenager but could this be it? I also know that cysts sometimes are cancerous. I am so scared and really embarrassed to go to the doctor, but I am sick of always being in pain. What should I do? Should I be worried?

For the past four weeks I have had cramping. I am having it pretty bad this week. Sometimes I get pain right above my hip bone in my lower abdomen where I think my ovary is. I have also.been feeling fatigued and a little nauseated and lower abdominal pain. I took 4 pregnancy test which all said negative. Does this sound like an ovarian cyst?

My left ovary now has "Complex mass at the left ovary including a prominent cystic component. Differential considerations for the left ovarian findings include hemorrhagic cyst as well as benign or malignant cystic ovarian neoplasm."
Thats directly off the ultrasound report. It measures 4.6cm in greatest dimension, overall dimensions of 5.9×4.1×4.3 cm.
I have another ultrasound in a 2 weeks. Depending on what that one shows, we’ll go from there I guess. That left ovary likes to act up, even with being on birth control. My oncologist in Arizona (I live in Wyoming now) put in my records that I should have a diagnostic scope done if the cysts persist. My doctor here wants to see if getting the IR under control a little will help it.
So basically… that ultrasound sounds vague to me. It’s not a functional cyst. It’s complex, possibly bleeding, possibly something a bit nastier.
Any other input/stories/experiences/interpretation… of the medical terminology greatly appreciated.
It should be noted that prior to the surgery for having my right ovary removed, the radiologist described the tumor on it as a complex hemorrhagic mass as well. So, as you can see, this has me pretty worried. My right ovary was removed due to a borderline malignant tumor in 2008.

I had a surgery in March of this year to remove two separate ovarian cysts. One was on my left side, hemorrhagic (blood filled) which was removed. It measured 9.1cmx7.3cm at the time of removal. The one on my right was a dermoid tumor, which is a cyst filled with fat, hair, some blood and in my case, a few teeth. It measured 5.5cmx6.5 at the surgery. Sadly, the right ovary is mangled and will probably never work well again. I’ve been charting, and ovulating successfully every month since my surgery. (I was also charting before the surgery and had one annovulatory month before the surgery.)
I got another ultrasound earlier this month because I was having some pain again, and the ultrasound came back showing a 10cmby6cm hemorrhagic cyst on my left ovary and a slightly smaller 6cmby4.5cm cyst on my right, which also looks like it’s turning back into a dermoid tumor.
My OBGYN has told me I’m too "complicated" for her and her team to deal with any longer and has told me I’ll need to see an RE. That’s all fine and dandy, something I can do even though the thought of the cost kills me.
but…
If I’m ovulating every month, like all my signs say I am, will these recurring cysts really cause issues getting pregnant, or am I good to go?

I had a sonogram done and I got a referral from my doctor today to get an MRI. The problem was "h/o complex left ovarian cyst and septate bicornuate uterus." The things I’m finding online are worrying me.
Does anyone have any experience with any of these things? or know anything about them. I’m 21, never had any children, and have a hormone imbalance and possible PCOS.
thank you!

When i was 13 (im 15 now) i got an ovarian cyst on my left ovary. It was pretty big and it got twisted around 3 times. I never had any symptoms except for one morning i got up before school and i just had a really sharp pain. I had surgery the next morning to remove it. I read up about it because i wasnt really sure what it was and i read that it usually occurs in woman during their child bearing years. What would be the cause of me getting it?
