I’ve had this since June of last year and have been waiting for my insurance to kick in. I want to start having kids and I haven’t had a period either, what can I do to get rid of the cyst myself?

Did you have it removed? Did it rupture on its own? What size was it? Did it hurt? How did you know that you had it?

I had a grapefruit size cyst removed Nov 2006, it was attached to my stomach, colon, and intestines. Pretty messy surgery. I have another one, not quite as big, but afraid it’s growing just like the last one. I was wandering if anyone knows when these cysts burst where does the fluid go? It is dangerous or poisinous to the body?

I am 6 weeks and 2 days pregnant and had an ultrasound on Friday and they found an ovarian cyst during the ultrasound. I know they’re pretty common, and most the time harmless, but what will my doctor do now to follow up? More ultrasounds? Because after my first ultrasound, the tech told me they normally will only do another ultrasound when you are 20 weeks for the Biophysical Profile. Also, if it would get larger, what would they do to make it smaller, or would they just remove it? Just looking for more information & personal experiences with this. Thanks!
I saw the doctor in the office on Thursday, and then had an ultrasound at the hospital on Friday. And now it’s the weekend and the office is closed. That is why I’m asking on here, otherwise yes, i would have just asked my doctor.

I just had a tubal ligation 5 months ago and i now am having weird bleeding (2weeks after period had light-bandade could of done the job-bleeding). And now i am a week and a half late on my period. I am never late on my period by the way. Its not stress either. I also am having ovarian pain on both sides and all last month had slight cramping. Now i am not having cramping at all. I also am VERY emotional and have broke down into tears alot lately. I took a preg test to rule out ectopic and it was neg. and i went to the doc last week and they did an ultrasound to see if they find anything. They havent called with the results yet but i was wondering if this sounds like a cyst or ovarian cancer? My mom when i was almost 11 ( she was only 39) died from cancer that they think started in her breasts but they were not really sure since the cancer had spread to her whole body when they caught it. So you can see why i am worried about this. Please only serious answers as i am very concerned about this.

I was having pain mid-cycle for a couple months and had an appt. where the doctor found a cyst. She referred me to get a transvaginal ultrasound, which I did. They found what appeared to be a complex cyst about 2 cm. Less than a month later, I had to get a CT scan for something totally separate from this issue. They called with the results and found the cyst, only it has now doubled in size. These doctors say it appears to be a simple cyst. My question is…do I need to worry since it has doubled in size in a month? I Have heard the ones that grow quickly tend to be benign, but I can’t help but to worry. Also, one radiologist finds it is a complex cyst, while the other says its simple. I had a ruptured ectopic pregnancy where my left fallopian tube is partly taken out and this cyst is on my opposite side. If I get the cyst removed, will it hurt my chances of getting pregnant? Thank you for any help.
The doctor wants me to get a follow-up ultrasound in 6 weeks. I am a bit worried as it has grown 2 cm in less than a month.

I am not getting any answers as to why i am getting the cyst just being told that i indeed do have them! I am so frustrated that no one will tell me how to prevent them. What is the cause of my cyst!

I use clear Blue digital fertility monitor and it gave me an egg sign the day of the rupture.

I’m so confused i’m going back to the dr today in 2 hrs and i’m sure we are just going to do an ultra sound to see if it was when i already know it was.

my husband and i have been trying to get pregnant for about 3 to 4 years now, with no luck. i have been seeing a fertility specialist since 2007. after taking fertility pills the first two years with no luck, we decide to try the shots this time. i did the shots for two cycles, and in the middle of the second cycle the doctor found the dermoid cyst/tumor. i do have polly cystic ovarian disease, which has cause alot of my infertility issues. i have recently have the tumor removed and the dr did ovarian drilling and allow cleaned my tubes again, second time in two years. i am just wondering do the drugs help this tumor to happen or what? i asked the docter and he was not very clear on his answer of, "To the medical world this is unkown really what causes these."
