Complex ovarian cyst?

I had an ultra sound 6 weeks ago which showed a complex ovarian cyst on my right side. My gyno had me follow up today with another ultrasound. It showed the one on the right was gone but it showed a complex cyst on the left side along with some fluid around it. Now she just wants me to follow up in 6 weeks to see if it’s gone. Does this sound right? Should I get another opinion? I don’t like to wait and see, What if it is gone and there is one on the other side??

I have had ovarian cyst, and later had to have one ovary removed. However, I had complex cyst for quite some time. The body has a way of sloughing off the cyst on it’s on sometimes. Which can sometimes be painful, and sometimes never known it happened. Just keep a watchful eye on them, and make sure to see your gyno, when any problems occur, or if you feel any bad pain, nausea, etc. This could been a more serious cyst, that could cause infection in your body, or this is how my Dr. explained it to me in basic terms. i just had my second ultra sound for ovarian cyst last week and the lady doing it said it is often normal for a cyst to switch sides, i previously had never heard this
it wouldn’t hurt for a second opinion but in most cases doctors don’t want to do surgery on cyst unless it is considered an emergency
