Constant pain; ovarian cyst; pregnant?
I’ve had a cyst in my right ovary, I’ve never had it treated. I discovered I had this cyst when I lost a baby last year; miscarriage. I found out I was preg this year b/c of the sharp pain in that same area; I’m 2 months pregnant and the doctor has seen the cyst; she’s not concerned; however, I’m having sharp pains in that area; should I be concerned? I don’t see her again until 3 weeks from now.
I never had it treated b/c I fell into a deep depression after I lost the baby last year.
Yes ma’am; there was a fear that it was an ectopic pregnancy early on b/c of the pain, and I’ve had an ultrasound since and the gestation sac did drop and all is well, but that pain persists.

If the pain is getting uncomfortable, you need to call the doctor and try to get in before. It could be growing in to something more serious.
i have a cyst in my left ovary, and im prego too, my doc knows about it and says it will go away during pregnancy but then again ihavnt had pains w/ it so i would get checked out soon
Have you had an ultra sound? Just to make sure that it’s not an eptopic pregnancy? You might want to call your doctor & DEMAND an ultrasound right away just to be safe..I wouldn’t wait if I was you. Eptopic pregnancies can be fatal.
The cyst that JenJen is referrring to is one all pregnant women get in pregnancy called a Corpus Luteum cyst. All of us get them in pregnancy, yours is alot different. You really need to call your OB .Or better yet, go to her office. If it’s an ectopic pregnancy, it does need to be treated right away.Go, now !!!
