Extreme pain after intercourse and some other symptoms. Ovarian cyst rupture (sorry, a little TMI..)?
Two days ago I had about a dime sized amount of brownish/pinkish blood after I peed. It was only on the tissue and didn’t continue throughout the day. That night, near the end of having sex, I felt a sharp pain. As I was trying to go to sleep after, I started getting a crampy feeling. This quickly escalated into some of the worst pain I’ve ever felt in my life. Honestly, I thought I was going to be like one of the girls on "I Didn’t Know I was Pregnant," and deliver a baby in my home. It was excruciating. I managed to take 800mg of ibuprofen and the pain continued for roughly four hours. I was very close to calling 911. Finally the ibuprofen kicked in and dulled the pain a little bit. I was able to sleep a little. The next day I felt like hell, but wanted to carry on with my day. I tried working out but had unbelievable cramping so I stopped. Since then, I’ve had some very noticeable symptoms: crampiness (not near my period), extreme fatigue, nausea, a sensitive lower abdomen and a general weak feeling. I’ve been looking up my symptoms (I’ve decided to go to the doc tomorrow.. I know I should have gone sooner), but has anyone here had a ruptured cyst? What has your experience been like with this? When did you feel normal again?

i had a severe ovarian cyst when i was 13, it was incredibly painfull and i did nothing but cry for 2 days untill i got to a doctor. They did some scanning like when people go get a scan on a baby and the cyst had twisted itself and engulfed my fallopian tube almost wholely. eventually i had to go into surgery and have my left ovary and fallopian tube taken out and woke up the next day and felt so much better. I have a pretty normal lifestyle and can have children still. the only thing is i now have a pretty big scar on my stomache (crappy surgeon). i would say that if it still hurts tomorrow go to a doctor just to get it checked, they will probably poke your stomache and say does it hurt, do a few scans, and maybe something a little embarrising and unpleasent if your unlucky (rectal examination).
But after about 4 weeks when my wound started to heal i felt normal and i never had a problem since. sorry if this scared you but sometimes its good to know all possibilities.
