Talk to the doctors, hun. Ask them all the questions you have. If they won’t answer, tell you parents you don’t want THAT doctor doing the surgery.
You need to trust your doctor, and if they won’t talk to you and won’t tell you what to expect, how can you trust them???
But most likely, they will be happy to explain everything to you. Don’t worry, having a cyst removed isn’t horrible.
Nothing to be afraid of. If its laparoscopic surgery they go through the belly button. You just won’t be able to wear clothing covering the navel for less than a week. There’s some discomfort but no pain.
If they get to it vaginally, you will experience some pain but nothing aspirin can’t handle – they might give you Tylenol with codiene. I only needed it for a couple of days.
Your dr will tell you how long you will be out of commission. You’ll still be able to enjoy all of your summer.
Don’t worry dear, everything will be fine soon. GOD bless you.
