How long after ovarian cyst removal can I have sex? I'm having the laparoscopic Cysectomy.?

I suffer with ovarian cysts on both ovaries which always seem to grow 5 centimeters and over. I have had one removed in Feb 2011 and now I have two large ones on both ovaries that has to be surgically removed. My question is how long do I have to wait to have sex after the procedure? I’m trying to get pregnant soon and very soon before the cysts return again. So once they are surgically removed I want to try and get pregnant ASAP…

Not for 6 weeks or so. You shouldn’t be getting pregnant until you’ve healed from the surgery, anyway, since your body needs to become healthy again for the pregnancy. Start your prenatal vitamins now (but get your doc’s permission first since there might be some vitamins you can’t take before surgery). That way, you’ll be totally ready when the time is right.
i don’t know but be careful because if you do get pregnant and they come back you could put you and your baby at risk. you wouldn’t want to have a miscarriage. or hurt yourself.
