how many of you have had a complex ovarian cyst resolve on its own without surgery?

Symptoms, Causes, Removal and Treatments
I have had a number of bilateral ovarian cysts (which included functional, hemorrhagic and endometrioma cysts) over the past 11 years. And I have even needed surgery for 2 of them because they didn’t resolve after a few cycles (as they usually do).
With my last complex ovarian cyst in March 2008 (hemorrhagic cyst), it ended up rupturing which caused me severe pelvic pain for about 2 weeks.
Mostly my ovarian cysts resolve on their own, but sometimes they don’t and surgery is needed. Surgery which is usually done via laparoscopy isn’t that bad if you do have to have surgery, but I would recommend that you talk to your gynaecologist about your options and ask him/her to answer any questions you may have.
Good luck
I myself have never had one (let’s keep it that way!!!) but my friend had 4 and they all got better by themselves
