How do I deal with the pain of an ovarian cyst rupture at school? I go to college and there is no nurse or healthcare personnel on campus. Should I ice the spot where it hurts? Any ideas? Thanks!
I go to a community college and there is no medical personnel.

Ice won’t help since your ovaries are pretty internal. You can try a heating pad if you have one. Other than that, take pain medication. Once the cyst does rupture, the pain quickly does get better although depending on where the fluid from the cyst goes, you can have stomach, bladder, etc pain until it is absorbed by the body. If you are not 100% sure that this is a ruptured cyst, or if you have any bleeding or fever, you need medical attention. Also, I am pretty sure colleges that have students who live on campus do have health centers or medical personal available at all times, so you may need to research that a bit better. Speak with your RA who would know this stuff.
