i need your help with my ovarian cyst?
no one’s answering my other question so here i’ll post it again:
i have a 6cm ovarian cyst on my right side
about 5 years ago i had my appendix out, which is also on the right side in case you didn’t know. anyways, it left a lot of scar tissue, and my ob.gyn. said that it would probably be last resort to have surgery because i have before.
the cyst keeps getting bigger, and it is hemorrhagic.but the pain is just so much i have to sit out on everyday things. i’m just a teenager so i don’t know if this is common.
what do you think i should do? should i go back to the hospital? or continue to wait it all out?
i was thinking if i got any pain later on, i would head into the ER maybe…
sorry i should have added that i went to the ER a week ago, and told me to come back if i couldnt stand the pain so they could admit me into the hospital…
* never had ovarian surgery before, just an appendectomy

Find a gyno who specializes in ovarian cysts. My sister suffered from the time she was 14 until she was 28 because regular gynos kept telling her a little pain during her period was normal. By the time she found the right doctor she had so much scar tissue that in her surgery she had to have a gyno, a stomach surgeon, and a bowel surgeon to put her organs back where they should be. Don’t take no for an answer!
Being that you have a history of cysts and the size I would make an appt with your GYN. The ER can’t perform surgery. They can only offer pain relief.
If you need pain control go to the ER
