Im 16 and have a bleeding ovarian cyst…?

…and I was given Birth Control to help treat it. My question is, because it is a treatment andI have a follow up in 2 weeks do i start it now, ro do I wait till the 1st sunday of my period like the pill says to?

I would recommend finding out from your doctor. If you are not anywhere near your period and your doctor recommends that you start taking your pill, it might "restart" your cycle, meaning that you could have a possible period as soon as you start your pills.
Otherwise you can wait until you start your period and start taking your pills then. Your doctor will probably know best in your situation.
you can actually start the birth control when ever you want. The birth control is to stop you from having a period so that your ovaries don’t produce anymore cysts, it "quietens" your ovaries. Im 28 and going through the same thing.
