I have ovarian cycts. My family has a long history of them. For me, mine are very very very very painful. I drop to my knees usually. They put me in the hospital this last Easter of them. They always mostly come in my right ovary. I know as soon as they hit and as soon as they pop. It hurts the day of ovulation when the egg is released for me. I always stay in bed that day. It feels like a horrible period cramp, only hurts when you walk, stand, sit, move. I hate them. Since I was in the hospital last easter for them, I was told to take Red Raspberry Leaf capsuls and they would die down. It worked. Since I have taken those I have had no pain at all, except the normal ovulation which is a tugging feeling and lasts for a few hours but atleast I can walk. I am 27 years old and have had these things since I was 15.
it’s usually a very sharp pain on your lower abdomen, around your ovaries, you’d def. feel that it’s just not a regular pain..if you have any pain like that best to talk to your doctor
you can also ask doctors online for free, try fertilityties.com
good luck!
I have had ovarian cyst’s and they feel like a sharp pain in the ovary area. Sharp an shotting. Its a fast pain and doesn’t stay very long. At least that’s what it felt like when they were popping. My Re told me that’s what it was.
i’ve had ovarian cysts before.
usually when they burst is when they hurt, i vomited, and was in extreme pain, they also seemed to occur more when i was on my period.
i had a fever, the pain was so extreme that i would rock back and forth and sort of go in and out of fainting spells.
I’ve had a long history of ovarian cysts. It sounds crazy, but just as it feels when you pull a muscle, it feels like you "pulled an ovary." It can feel like a painful "catch" or stabbing pain when you cough, sneeze, move, or even when you’re still. It presents on the lower left and or right side(s) of your abdomen, around where your reproductive system lies. When the cyst ruptures, it is very painful, and it feels like there was an explosion in there. The blood and fluid leaked from the cyst is somewhat acidic, so it tends to irritate the surrounding tissues, therefore making everything hurt even more.
