When I had a leaking cyst the pain was so severe that I ended up in the emergency room on morphine and still could barely handle the pain. I didn't really notice any bleeding--they did a urine test and told me there was blood present but I otherwise wouldn't have known. They usually don't do anything medically for a burst cyst other than give you meds to handle the pain. I'd talk to a doctor about it. Being on birth control pills can help prevent ovarian cysts.
